Please improve this process! Especially now that so many people are working from home through OneDrive/SharePoint, getting data from one cloud file to another is critical.
My two thoughts are this:
- If I try to link to a OneDrive/SharePoint file the old-fashioned way (start a formula, open the other file, click a cell), it should link to the online path, not the local path (as it currently does).
- What about a Data > Get Data > From OneDrive/SharePoint file option, which will let us browse naturally to the right file, and use its online path for the query?
Yes add these please for the love of [insert deity here]. I have been driving myself mad searching for how to do this without repeating the entire filter definition for each sum.
Since my office uses the super-stodgy update channel, I had figured there must already be a way. It didn't occur to me that this feature didn't exist yet!
