    When you say that it opens a different size – can you give more info? Do you mean the application window is a different size (it shouldn’t be) or that the font sizes (zoom) are different? (again, they shouldn’t be)

    Additionally, if you can post a video of what you’re seeing, that would be a big help for us.

    If there is a problem here, it’s definitely something we’d want to fix.

    Cheers,
    Dan [MS]

    Sorry this is it (from Allen Wyatt)

    Function SavePosition()
    Dim fileName As String
    Dim myWindow As Window
    Set myWindow = ActiveWindow
    fileName = "config.txt"
    Open fileName For Output As #1
    With myWindow
    Write #1, .Top
    Write #1, .Left
    Write #1, .Height
    Write #1, .Width
    End With
    Close #1
    End Function

    In Workbook_Open() do:
    Function RestorePosition()
    Dim inputStr As String
    Dim fileName As String
    Dim myWindow As Window
    Set myWindow = ActiveWindow
    fileName = "config.txt"
    If Dir(fileName) <> "" Then
    Open fileName For Input As #1
    With myWindow
    .WindowState = xlNormal
    Line Input #1, inputStr
    .Top = inputStr
    Line Input #1, inputStr
    .Left = inputStr
    Line Input #1, inputStr
    .Height = inputStr

    Look at https://excelribbon.tips.net/T010939_Setting_Program_Window_Size_in_a_Macro.html
    Allen Wyatt has created an save and restore function using a text file, This works perfectly. the size and position of your work book is set as it was closed.

    Thanks Allen.

    I would like to set the screen size for my workbook/sheet self and keep it as long as i want. This should then become to opening size of the excel untill I change it!
    Microsoft should not decide for me what the screen size should be!
