Second. Also, if you have text formatting in the Excel document it doesn't carry over to Word. Why not a similar wizard in Excel to that of Word to stay within a single program.
In the old days, Word and Excel were bought separate forcing the customers to purchase both. Now they always come together in the package.

    Second this comment.
MS has a good mail/label merge wizard in word but text formatting in Excel doesn't carry over to the word merged document.
Why not tweak the same wizard and install it in Excel. In Word one has to create a VBA script to do conditional formatting where this often has already been done in Excel.

I'm surprised this hasn't been addressed by the OS team. With monitors getting so good, you can scan barcodes directly on the monitor. Why not treat common barcodes as a font type. ABC123 can be Comic Sans or Barcode 3 of 9. Flip back and forth as necessary.
Many IT departments WILL NOT install 3rd party anything. Perfectly acceptable if MS includes this.

Thanks for the suggestion Jessica. We’ve got a few other suggestions on the site that are similar with scientific notation, etc. We’ll take a look at this area, and pay special attention to any cases that get a lot of votes. So please keep the votes coming to help us do a good job at prioritizing asks like this!

    Cheers,

I am importing data from my bnk account as .csv. for some strange reason their formatting for date switches from text in most rows to date format in others. I changed the column to date in Format Cell but it still doesn't line up or get treated as dates.
It would be nice if a date function to convert weirdly formatted dates into something consistent so i could be sorted. I tried Text-to-Columns with / delimiter but it didn't break well.
