It's awesome that people are trying to help and post workarounds with the help of Power Automate. I love PA and the power within it But to be honest, should I tell my 3000 Mac users in my organization to start learn Power Automate in order to export a list to Excel!!?
This is redicoulous and I cannot understand why the Excel product team is closing their eyes for this? If they have a better solution in joint with the SharePoint product team, I'm more than happy to here it. But making .iqy extension known to Excel for Mac seems like a very simple task.

Work from anywhere, at anytime and on any device??? This is not true. Within our organisation we have somewhere 3000 Mac users. That is of course only 10% of the total numbers of users so of course, they are a minority. Still, I think they (myself included) should have the same possibility to create an export from their SharePoint list without have to create a Flow for it or fire up a VDI or Citrix session to do this.
Common now, this needs to have higher attention.
