    By setting your scroll bars to be always shown in your MacOS general settings, you are able to scroll horizontally in the text import wizard.

    We will prioritize this issue accordingly with other issues based on the votes and interest that we see here.

    I found a workaround for this bug but you will need an external mouse!! I am importing csv files to excel with leading zeroes and I have to mark several columns as text to get the import right. So after having no luck scrolling to the columns I need on the train failing to do my work.. I got it to work when I got to the office where I have an external mouse attached.

    Just abort the csv import. Attach the external mouse and start over. Voila.. the scroll bar appears!
    Microsoft: You should really fix this as this should be possible to do with the touchpad..
