    Thanks for supporting this feature. We won’t be able to in the near future, but we understand that it would be a nice improvement. Even though it seems like a straightforward idea, it is quite complex since named ranges can be dynamic, meaning that the range is calculated when the workbook is calculated.

    We’ll continue tracking votes for this suggestion.

    Clarify previous comment: when I say "should be possible" I mean that this is already supported, you should be able to do it without difficultiy. I have named ranges working nicely in CF formulae.

    The field size for editing the formula of conditional formats is way too small. It should be possible to create complex formatting formula that use named ranges.

    An online version should be able to outpace a local installation due to the huge server power behind it. Therefore, any limits that are lower than those of a local installation are going to make the online version flop.
