    Thanks for the suggestion Levi! We’ll be taking a look at this along with some other asks around conditional formatting. It’s a big help to see the things with the most votes, particularly within areas like formatting. So please keep the votes coming for things you want us to do sooner!

    Thanks for supporting this feature. We won’t be able to in the near future, but we understand that it would be a nice improvement. Even though it seems like a straightforward idea, it is quite complex since named ranges can be dynamic, meaning that the range is calculated when the workbook is calculated.

    We’ll continue tracking votes for this suggestion.

    Excel/Office team, please keep your sheets together and fix old "features" before throwing out new useless updates that break things up even more (looking at you, '@' sign). I voted a while back and keep receiving comment notification mails every other week from desperate users like me complaining about their ranges turning into fragmentation bombs.

    Completely agree with @Roy, if it's too hard to maintain a named range/table, at the very least please keep the normal range instead of turning it into that abomination.
