    I am able to copy/paste merged cells in one cell, and the contiguous becore also merged (same size as source).
    And if the merged cells are pasted in another (smaller, same or bigger size) merged cells, the destination stay the same size.

    O365.

    Maybe because when you are inside your cell, it's to copy only the value.
    But when you click on a cell without editing it and copy it, it will copy also all the formatting.
    And this behavior is to make you avare of that.

  6. Cell should be highlited if we will link that cell with another cell.

    More generally, all cells with formulas could be highlighted (to avoid modifying although it's a calculated value) ?
