Another use for an improved version of Terminal font would be to perform a quick data integrity check. One could visually check a column of data for issues by looking for character colors that shouldn't be present. Even a space could be a "special character" color in order to identify trailing spaces.

Thanks for the suggestion Levi! We’ll be taking a look at this along with some other asks around conditional formatting. It’s a big help to see the things with the most votes, particularly within areas like formatting. So please keep the votes coming for things you want us to do sooner!

    Thanks,
    John [MS XL]

It is possible (or at least was) to add an icon that invokes Paste Values. Does that provide similar functionality? Could we get a real keyboard shortcut for Paste Values and Paste Functions? Not ones with extra steps required. A keyboard shortcut that brings up the Paste Special dialog box is virtually worthless.

How much screen real estate are you willing to sacrifice for the groupings? It would be great if virtually no additional real estate was lost to worksheet groupings. Worst case, color tabs do help in identifying worksheet groups. Maybe the solution is similar to how graphic elements can be grouped: Group, Ungroup, Regroup in the right-click menu, with little real estate devoted to denoting the groupings; certainly not vertical screen real estate.
