We’ll send you updates on this idea

Huge progress update toward historical data! We have released our preview of the StockHistory function! https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/stockhistory-function-1ac8b5b3-5f62-4d94-8ab8-7504ec7239a8

However, this is only available to our Beta Channel at the moment, so when it is rolled out to General Availability, I will be sure to update the status to completed.

If you are able to use the feature in preview and have feedback, please send-a-frown for us to review.

Can live dynamic stock quotes be linked into an excel spreadsheet using office 365?

I am glad to see Excel now has added a stock market data source however it appears the feed is not dynamic. It does not automatically refresh as the quotes change. Does Microsoft plan on making the feed live in future updates?

Are the Microsoft stock quotes dynamic/real time? If so, how often do they update?

Where is Microsoft now? Can we pull in a live, real-time, dynamic stock market feed (bid, ask, last, vol) into Excel?

It doesn't seem like importing live "real time" quotes/data stock market prices should be that complicated. It also seems like an enhancement that would dramatically improve MS Excel users experience with the product.

Please add me to your list of Excel users requesting access to live stock quote data. Thanks!

Streaming stock market data. Why doesn't excel have access to live streaming stock market data (last price, bid, ask, volume, etc.)? There are 50+ million investors out there with a large subset of MS excel users. I have done extensive research and I am shocked that Microsoft hasn't developed something internally or that somebody hasn't created a third party add on. It seems there is a huge market that is being missed here.
