    Yes, "Paste Literal" would be very helpful. That is, whatever value, reference or formula is in the cell when copied could be pasted into another cell just as if it was "moved" or "dragged." The pasted value, reference or formula would be identical to the copied value without a "relative reference" adjustment. "Paste Duplicate" might be another way to describe it.

    Newer versions of Excel already have this feature.
