That idea can be closed now that we have dynamic array function UNIQUE that can we wrapped into COUNT or COUNTA, i.e.:

=COUNT(UNIQUE(range)) if range contains numeric values only, otherwise COUNT(UNIQUE(range))

Good suggestion Frederic – thanks for taking the time to post it. We’ll take a look at the F4 loop and including other functionality like this as soon as we can. We’ll be spending more time on the things with more votes – so folks that really want to see this should keep voting it up.

    Best,

Thanks for your support for this suggestion. As some of the comments have concluded, there are a few complex technical issues and considerations that have delayed this from being implemented.

We do think that this suggestion has merit but we don’t think that we’ll be able to devote time to it in the near future.

One of the primary reasons for this request was to have a better way to handle formula cells in line charts, and this can be accomplished using the option to show #N/A as an empty cell. To find the option for your chart, go to the Select Data dialog for the chart, and click the Hidden and Empty Cells button.

We know there are other scenarios where a proper NULL()…

Hi all – thanks for your support for this suggestion.

Improving data validation drop down lists by adding autocomplete is a great idea, as well as supporting structured table references in the data validation Source range.

Thank you for taking your time to suggest and vote for being able to protect Power Query with a password. This is a good idea, but we don’t think we’ll be able to support this in the near future. We’ll continue tracking votes for it.
