Making Mac Name Manager feature identical to Windows version would be great. I didn't realize how much value the features on the Window platform added until I worked on my most recent project. Having to use the weak functionality of the Mac version of Name Manager has added literally 10-20% to the amount of time needed to accomplish the same tasks on the Windows version. In some instances, I can't accomplish what I want to at all.
Thanks for supporting this suggestion with your votes. It’s unlikely that we’ll be able to bring PowerPivot to Excel for Mac, because it relies on features of the operating system that don’t exist on Mac OS. We’ll keep tracking votes, since we know that the scenarios made possible by PowerPivot are important, even if the solution will need to be something else.
We are pleased to announce that the first set of Power Query features are now available in version 16.29 and greater. At this stage you can refresh from text, CSV, XLSX, JSON and XML files.
