Thank you for taking your time to suggest and vote for allowing interaction with Excel while in Power Query Editor window. We do think that this suggestion has merit but we don’t think that we’ll be able to devote time to it in the near future. We’ll continue tracking votes for it.

When DA’s were first announced, I felt this feature was missing, but I couldn’t think how to solve it.

    Charles’ suggestion would be perfect.

Thanks for your enthusiasm about this “magic” feature. We don’t have any plans in the near term to make changes to linked pictures, but please continue to submit your votes/comments! We’ll keep watching this discussion to help us continue product planning. Thanks again!

The low-resolution pixelated images created by linked pictures / camera tool are a problem which needs to be fixed.

It is possible to get a slightly better resolution with this trick: https://exceloffthegrid.com/camera-tool-image-quality-problem/

I’m happy to let you know that we are in the planning stages to make Excel for Windows scroll without jumping to the edge of the cell so you’ll be able to scroll smoothly. We don’t yet have a target date, but wanted to tell you about our plans.

We appreciate all the votes and comments supporting this suggestion.

    Thanks – Steve K [Excel]
