While not as simple as Highlighting a set of cells & clicking a button. The CONCATENATE() function does a great job at joining values from columns with constants. eg: =CONCATENATE(A1,"; ", A2).

That said, for your scenario, most databases support an update command. something like UPDATE mytable SET UnitsColumn = UnitsColumn / 25.4

It the creating custom icon sets feature is a significant piece of work.
Please consider adding a few more icons to the set you publish.

eg: A Green arrow pointing down. And a Red arrow pointing up would solve a very common use case.
Lots of businesses strive to reduce KPI's like Expenses, Injuries, Claims. Currently Excel offers no good way to represent that, other than circles.
Many people want more, ie: Down a little is circle, Down a lot is arrow.

Another display made populate by movies & social media is a rating system. eg: x numbers of stars. It would be nice to be able to display multiple stars (or some other icon)

At present the only thing we have is signal strength bars, and the low contrast between dark grey & dark blue makes them difficult to read, thus useless.
