This would be great for readability and maintenance!
Duplicating long formulas makes thing so much cluttered, hard to read and prone to mistakes!
This would be so useful for a large number of use cases where you want the result of a long formula unless X, Y, Z...
IFX() would be great and IFXS() would be amazing
(but I must admit I'm not sure about the argument order... maybe beginning with the formula would be easier to read... maybe not)

this is a good idea (I vote for it) ... but the "universal if" is better:
    https://excel.uservoice.com/forums/304921-excel-for-windows-desktop-application/suggestions/18955507-universal-if-statement-to-meet-needs-of-ifnull

because while IFBLANK() and IFZERO() would be useful, it wouldn't help when testing against ="" (which is different than ISBLANK() if there's a formula resulting in "" in the cell)...
and there are probably other use cases where we want the IF to use the result of the tested formula without having to duplicate it.

Thank you for taking the time to share your request for linking min/max values of a chart axis to the cell value! We think this suggestion has merit; however, we don’t expect to devote time to it in the near future. We will continue tracking votes and comments here, and will keep this suggestion under consideration for future development.

Thank you again, and please keep sharing your thoughts!

This would solve a big risk factor for me! I have some complex charts with two vertical axis and I really need them to be the same, but it would be good if they also could "grow" with the new data when necessary, linking the min and max value of both axis to cells would allow me to calculate the values base on my current data set while making sure both axis stay the same.

    I agree!
I didn't even realize Center Across Selection existed before I stumbled on this thread! So glad I did, now I'm using it regularly... and whish it was easier to access (and that the "bad" option of merging cells wasn't so easy to access)

I think this suggestion is about the same as this one (with more votes) :

    https://excel.uservoice.com/forums/304921-excel-for-windows-desktop-application/suggestions/8778088-make-it-easier-to-find-external-links

but it's so important and obviously lacking that I'm voting here too.

Note: I seem to remember that one hard to find place where links can hide is in conditionnal formating

Good news! We’ve started working on this suggestion, and we’re currently testing the improved scrolling experience in our lab. It will allow you to stop partway through the row or column. The sheet will no longer need to snap to the top and left edge of the cells. Since scrolling is such a fundamental and highly used action in Excel, it may take a while to get it right. We hope to have it ready within a few months, but can’t provide an exact target date just yet. Thanks again for all your support and patience for this long awaited improvement.

We’ll post an update here when we start rolling it out for you to try. It will be made available to Office Insiders first. Here’s how you can join – https://insider.office.com/en-us/join/windows.

    Thanks – Steve [Microsoft Excel]
