    One way around this issue is to Fortmat Cells, Number tab, Category - Custom, and in the Type field enter 0's as many as you want the number of digits to be and excell will insert leading zeros.

    Thanks for the suggestion Jessica. We’ve got a few other suggestions on the site that are similar with scientific notation, etc. We’ll take a look at this area, and pay special attention to any cases that get a lot of votes. So please keep the votes coming to help us do a good job at prioritizing asks like this!

    Thanks to Jeffrey for suggesting the shortcut keys to format text as subscript or superscript. I can see that this would be useful and consistent with the other applications. As with all the requests, voting helps move the request up in our priority list, so keep the votes coming if this is important to you.
