    We are pleased to announce that the first set of Power Query features are now available in version 16.29 and greater. At this stage you can refresh from text, CSV, XLSX, JSON and XML files.

    Thanks for supporting this feature. We won’t be able to in the near future, but we understand that it would be a nice improvement. Even though it seems like a straightforward idea, it is quite complex since named ranges can be dynamic, meaning that the range is calculated when the workbook is calculated.

    We’ll continue tracking votes for this suggestion.

    Thanks for your support of this suggestion and all the great ideas in the comments. We have at least one improvement planned (resizing the dialogs – see link in the description), and we’re looking at some additional improvements.

    Thank you for taking the time to share your suggestion to create PowerPoint slides directly from an Excel Sheet!

    This this suggestion does has merit; however, we don’t expect to devote time to it in the near future. We will continue tracking votes and comments here, and will keep this suggestion under consideration for future development.
