Images can be anchored to paragraph lines in Word. Why can't this be done in Excel ... anchoring to a cell.

By anchoring the inserted image to the selected cell, with provision to drag the anchor to any other cell, placed/sized images would then follow that cells when any Sort or Filter is applied (whether in a Table or not).

I have worked as a consultant and trainer for more than 30 years and
this remains the one major "missing feature" which prevents Excel Tables/Lists being more useful in everyday business in an increasingly graphic world. It would mean that people can do more complex work in Excel (e.g. parts lists, staff records, etc.) rather than HAVING to learn Access (or buy that expertise).

I think the Request is ask for any image to be ANCHORED to a cell (just as images can be anchored to paragraph lines in Word. Thus sorting would include the image.

This is the one major "missing feature" which prevents Excel Tables/Lists being more useful in an increasingly graphic world.

I'll start a separate Post on this topic.
