Good suggestion Frederic – thanks for taking the time to post it. We’ll take a look at the F4 loop and including other functionality like this as soon as we can. We’ll be spending more time on the things with more votes – so folks that really want to see this should keep voting it up.
Best,

Likewise, it should be much easier to input A1 style references if you're using a table. If you edit a cell and click on a table cell, you get the table-style reference. Ctrl+click does give you something like B2:B2, but you have to edit the second part of the reference. F4 could also toggle between table and non table style references.

I made this into a macro - press a keyboard shortcut and the chart is copied and centered into a new slide after the active one. Huge timesaver.

Wow.
Thank you to all those participated in our survey. What an amazing number of responses, many of them with very deep content. We’re processing the over ten thousand responses(!), and already appreciate the time so many of you took to answer with passion and experience.
Please know this survey is used to help influence various topics – both on Python as well as other related topics that the comments started to bleed into. Given the passion, I want to be clear this remains an area of exploration for us, without any specific timeline.
We’ll provide updates as we progress on this feature request.
Thanks!

I agree with Xiaolun Cheng - Python would be the best possible replacement for VBA. I love R but for scripting Python is the way to go.

Thanks for the suggestion Nick. We’ve got some related work we’re looking at soon, and we’ll be sure to carefully consider if we can get a fix in for this then. As always, more votes helps – so keep voting for the things you care about most.

Thanks for the suggestion Malcom. We’ll keep an eye on this – we’ll be more deeply investigating things with more votes, so people should up vote this if they like it. I’d also encourage people to chime in on the comments for this one with any specific asks for particular cases/operations they care about more than others.
Cheers,

This is a great suggestion. Also check the back and forward buttons in the PDF-XChange viewer program; it will take you through every single view you just had of a PDF file.

Ctrl+Shift+V seems ok, a modified version of the original shortcut.

Great suggestion – thanks again for taking the time to put it on this site and for the thoughtful followup comments. This is pretty related to some other work we’ve got going and already has a fair number of votes, so we’ll work on getting plans in place now and hope to get started on this soon.
Thanks,

Thanks for the suggestion! We’re fans of Regex and its ability to parse text too.
If you’d like to see Regex support in Excel, please keep the votes rolling in.

It also generates one modal dialog per Name, which is a pain.
