rather than a drop down yes/no ability to have a check box that toggles on click. Using the VBA controls are just painful to use and place. I've mimicked this using hyperlinks with windings font as number format and tiny bit of vba code. The fun bit is that once created you just copy/paste it to a new cell no need to try and size/position the thing. Makes check list in no time

we use http://www.arixcel.com/ and for £6.50 best tool ever for looking at tracing formulas even works with OFFSETS so you don't have to either work out which cell the formula is referring to or copy paste it into the goto window F5

agree. I've written vba toolbar which displays a dialog of all the sheets in the workbook (including hidden/very hidden). It was primarily designed to show/hide sheets but it can show you a sorted A-Z list, filter the list, double/single click to go to that sheet, copy the sheet names to the clipboard, show vba names - saves me hours when you have lots of sheets to work with

Great suggestion, thanks David! And thanks to other people who took the time to clarify/comment on this one. There’s definitely room to tighten this experience up in a number of places. We’re getting a lot of traffic on the site, so please keep voting for the things you care about most to help us do a great job of prioritizing.

    Best,
    John [MS XL]

it would be useful to link conditional formatting to named ranges
