If you're using Excel for Mac, you can create a customized key combination for many actions in Excel. Go to the Tools menu, choose Customize Keyboard, then find the command you want to use. Select the category "commands not in the ribbon" and then search for "values" and you'll see the commands of interest. Then put your focus in the "Press new keyboard shortcut" field and press the key combination you'd like to use.
