Excel iPad Pro modify data sources for charts
Since the iPad Pro is intended to be used professionally, i am missing the ability to modify data sources for charts. I need full desktop functionality otherwise excel for iOS is absolutely useless for me

Selecting NonAdjacent Cells
I'm not able to select nonadjacent cells in Excel on the iPad Pro. That means that I can;t selectively apply formulas or build charts with data from nonadjacent columns. It's an absurd thing not to be able to do. Under any other circumstances this would be a matter fo just hitting the Ctrl button. You all need to fix this immediately, I feel like I've been sold something nonfunctional.

X and Y manual values for scaling on graphs and charts
I have hit an inpasse whilst working on a document of which requires a graph. A brief description of my data is as follows. I am creating a comparison chart gauging residential broadband speeds in comparison to the speed the clients are paying for, the minimum access speed for their line and Ofcom's minimum speed regulations. Residential broadband speeds for fibre are currently offered generally in 38Mbps and 76Mbps packages. My data doesnt go up that high, however for a visual effect, I require to change the scale to the maximum value of the Y axis is 76 and the…

Add equation for trend line and rsquared
Hi, I need to utilise this information from my data in excel, without this functionality I cannot do the work that I need and it makes using excel on iOS useless. Excel on my iPad is great, and I would be able to use it fully however this is very limiting. I need to use the desktop version for this functionality.

equation of linear trendline on ipad
On a PC, I can make an XY scatterplot, and get a trendline, and get the equation and R squared value. But on an ipad, I cannot get the equation of the line. I have a lab exercise with my college students that requires them to make a scatterplot, and then use the equation of the line to predict Y values given an X value, or vice versa. Our college just purchased new ipads for all students, so I was very disappointed they cannot use their new ipads for this exercise.

Add ability to show/hide and move equation and rsquared value as elements for linear trendline
Currently the only way to see the equation and rsquared value for a linear trendline is to use a quick layout. If you do that, you can not hide either the equation or the Rsquared, and more importantly, you can not move it around on the chart so that it doesn't overlap other elements. Also, I'd prefer to see enabling the equation and Rsquared as part of the Elements option as opposed to that being kind of hidden under layouts.

Specific colours for charts
Charts currently only allow selection of colour groups which rarely match the message I need to convey. I need to be able to select the display colour of individual data series in charts (bars, sectors or lines) and sometimes even individual parts of data series.

Edit source data for charts
It would be nice if there is an easier way to add column and row headers to a chart. Currently there is no choice, unless you organize your data such that the intended headers are immediately adjacent to the data
18 votesThanks for the great feedback. We’ll definitely consider this in the next round of features for the iPad/iPhone. Please continue to vote on this feature idea which will increase its likelihood of getting in the product.

This feature request is still on our backlog but there is nothing we can commit to at this time. Thanks,

Adding multiple series to a single scatter plot
I have to use scatter plots for many labs for college and that means that there are multiple test per experiment resulting in multiple tables per experiment. These multiple tables need to be added into a single scatter plot as different series.

Need ability to edit data in charts
You can create charts in Excel, and use sliders to include more series, but it only works if all data points are inside a table.
If data series are in different parts of a sheet, Excel for iOS cannot edit the source data to pick the right data.
Please add this feature.

Scatter plot selects wrong data for display, need to manually specify range for x,y data
Need ability to manually edit or specify data ranges for scatter plots. Currently is automatically determined from initial range selection during chart creation, and this is frequently incorrect.

graphing see / modify data series
That I know of, there's no way to create a graph and then edit the data series afterwards. Clearly there are multiple data series created in some charts but I don't see a way to view / edit them without a lot of tedious dragging control handles around in the spreadsheet. It would be so much better to be able to have a dialog box pop up and hand edit the data series.

Add ability to add polynomial (or at least quadratic) trendline via elements for a scatter plot
Scatter plots for Scientific data measured by students often fit a parabola shaped trendline, i.e. a polynomial trendline with an order of 2. If supporting a polynomial trendline like desktop Excel is too computationally intensive, how about at least supporting a quadratic trendline (i.e. polynomial or order 2) inlcuidng the ability to show the equation and rsquared value. This would allow students to use iPad Excel to make predictions from data analysis done with the iPad.
