Support Creation of Pivot Tables in iPad and Android
Enable support for creation, refresh and modification of Pivot Tables and Slicers in iPad and Android.
We acknowledge and agree that it would be useful to enable PivotTable creation on iPad and Android. We do hope to eventually implement this, but it’s not likely to happen this year because our PivotTable engineers are currently focused on implementing PivotTable functionality in Excel on the web.
Agreed, been waiting for too long!

Slicers is really an interesting feature and should be implemented on Excel version of Ipad

Can't wait to see Pivot Table features include slicers in Excel Mobile (Android & Ipad), because now people are going mobile with their devices, so our reports have to adapt too. Hopefully it will be developed soon. Thank you
I would have to agree with others in here that this is a core functionality of excel and needs to be implemented. We live on our mobile devices and aren’t all in offices in front of computers all day.
We need to be able to select filters and have it actually select and change the pivot table accordingly. Right now when I select an option it is random in what it filters out and not the expected behavior that works fine on a computer. Nested filter options is even worse where changing the selected field doesn’t change the filter list.
I would also like to be able to use slicers, as it currently stands I can move the slicer around but can’t select any options.
I honestly don’t understand why changing the style options was implemented correctly before selecting filters
I love excel and it is the de facto standard and we need mobile to catch up so it can be usable.
Hmm it seems that Tableau has pivot tables that work on mobile devices. Perhaps we should just scrap excel and move to tableau. If a software manufacturer doesn’t keep up with the times then they get left behind. Think Lotus123

Pivot tables are a core feature of Excel. This is not a fringe item that is a nice to have or an enhancement. The iPad Pro really needs an update in Excel to be useful and it’s long overdue.

The only reason I am holding out from using an iPad for work is because of this, please do it!
I’ve been watching this topic for a couple of years at this point. And it’s beyond disappointing. At what point will you acquiesce to your users needs? People are paying for this product, and getting a crippled feature set. The most important functionality for a professional user is pivot tables on mobile - tablets at least. I know I've nearly given up. Your web interface limps on a tablet - and I’m being kind with that statement - so, I can’t imagine you have a huge user base there. I can only assume not offering this functionality in your tablet app is simply a ploy to push users to Surface. It’s disappointing. And in no universe will I switch to the surface product line as it stands now. There are plenty of third party BI tools that will allow me to work with spreadsheets. However, it would be ideal to simply have that which everyone already knows - pivots, right in the app that they already paid for....
Please add pivot tables as soon as possible as this is a professional requirement.

Absolutely must have to be productive on iPad.
When the excel is available for android device then features like pivot table creation should be added in that.
It would be a great help to be mobile and complete the tasks.
