Please don't have Excel open up a spreadsheet in drawing mode!
Excel for Android opens up both of my two spreadsheets in drawing mode(!!!) and instead of entering text or numbers I'm entering little tiny periods or lines and then I have to undo them and change to home mode. What a pain in the you-know-where.
If you’re using an Android Phone, then we’ve already made a fix for this issue (so your stylus is used as a pointer by default)
The build is still in the process of rolling out, but once you update to 16.0.7301.1004 or later, you should go back to your old stylus behavior on your phone.
PS – the stylus still defaults to drawing on tablet devices.

After your July 17th update of Excel for Android I can no longer hide sheets on my main spreadsheet. I've read downloaded and reinstalled off of Google Play that didn't help I opened up a new sheet called sheet1 and tried to hide it with nothing on it that did the same thing it makes Excel disappear and hide in the background and when I reopen Excel the sheet that I wanted hidden is still there.
The highlight function with the pen is not desired in my case and is overpowering, slows spread sheet functionality, and will not stop. Please give us a setup option whereby we can stop the highlight function.
