Apple Pencil should not draw in excel by default
Apple Pencil should not draw by default. This is an awful programming miss that should have been caught during QA. Who wants to use their fingers in Excel for IPad if you have an Apple Pencil.

This was updated in the June release.

Still in 2020 not user friendly, pencil or stylus on any device - pad, surface, phone or laptop - what if user wants to use pencil for point, click, select but never to write or draw?

Anyone know how we can turn that feature off? It is driving me insane!

Yes! Agreed, when will this be changed?

I 100% agree and do not even understand why someone thought that a good idea. In Word you have the choice but it is a great tool to select cells in a spreadsheet rendered useless by the decision to make it automatically annotate.
