Ability to turn off Autocomplete for iOS
Autocomplete causes problems when using iOS with a barcode scanner. We need the ability to turn off Autocomplete like the desktop version.
We use the excel iOS app to scan data in. The autocomplete is not allowing our scanner to read correctly. Please fix so we can disable the autocomplete on the app.
The autocomplete popup virtually makes the app unusable because it's too slow. I remember leaving a feedback for this feature/bug since forever, using the Feedback feature inside Excel for iPad. Seeing how this still hasn't been addressed, I'll keep using Numbers on iOS, tyvm.
Turning off auto complete on the desktop does not impact the iOS version of the file. -- iOS still attempts to auto-complete and this is a huge issue. We have the same barcode scanning failure now as a result. PLEASE FIX and allow us to either remove the autocomplete or at least give us access to install the old version of EXCEL -- ASAP.
I have to make orders guides fro work and this feature makes it much harder than it has to be when entering items that start with the same letters

Figured it out, so on your Mac open the excel spreadsheet. I am using OneDrive so anything that happens to the settings of the spreadsheet in the Mac will automatically be synced to the iPad through the cloud. While the spreadsheet is open on your Mac, click the "Excel" tab at the very top left then click "Preferences". Choose "Autocomplete" and uncheck all boxes. Open the spreadsheet on your iPad to confirm the Autocomplete settings have been changed.
Replied to your comment on the Microsoft site too, hopefully you get this because I was about to give up all hope on the iPad. Its a great tool when you can get around these bugs.
