How can we improve Excel for Mobile Devices

Ability to open any file, even if not editable

Just as the iOS version, all files can be opened, not all can be edited or all functions are available. However, all can be opened.

HI Scott,

We’re working on loading more files. Can you add some more detail about what specific issue you’re running into here, so we can prioritize it appropriately?

Thanks,
Dan [MS]

My files that use web queries will not open. On Windows Phone 8.1 they would open, just not be editable. Please bring back that function!

I have some files that have macros in them that I would like to be able to view without running the macros.
It would be even better if I could add data to them and not break the macro portion so when I open later in a desktop version I can run the macros on the new data.
