Allow full Excel version on ARM chips
As it appears possible that Apple will turn to ARM for all their devices can we see a full excel version that runs on iPad Pro and all future Apple ARM devices?

Add the ability to add NOTES to Cells as well as threaded comments
Threaded comments are the only way to add comments to cells, in the mobile version on ipad. now that they are incompatible with older versions and iPhone version, we must have the ability to add NOTES to cells to maintain compatibility.

Need to be able lock/unlock a sheet or workbook on my iPad. This is a serious limitation. Please fix.
Not be able to protect/unprotected a sheet on my iPad is a serious limitation for me. It defeats the purpose of having multiple devices.

Hyperlink to other files (e.g. *.pdf) located on the local device (i.e. the internet)
I am a musician and I have hundreds of songs as individual PDFs. Managing them all combined in a single PDF is not scalable. I want to use an Excel spreadsheet on my Android tablet as a master database that can be searched/sorted that has links to the PDF for each song. This is straightforward using Excel on Windows. Unfortunately, even with relative referencing, I cannot get this to work on Android. From the Excel app for Android it would be nice to:
1. Use links to reference non-excel files and open them in the relevant app.

Make Excel for IPad as good and as usable as it is for any laptop
Excel for IPad is so limited compared to excel for a PC, make them the same. I pay for office 365 and should have the same usability as any other customer irrelevant of the device used.

Copy formulas from one worksheet to another
Seriously - Excel on my iPad does not allow copying of formulas from one worksheet to another? Paste special only allows a picture to be pasted.
Someone is laughing at MS. To call this product Excel when it cannot provide basic functionality is a sick joke.
Restore some pride in your work and fix this gap.

Drag & Drop - Cursor
When copying data by dragging down, the cursor ends up on the ORIGINAL entry but in the vast majority of cases, the DUPLICATE entry needs to be changed or altered. The cursor should end up on the start of the DUPLICATE entry

validation popup width is to small
The current width of the popup is way too small when having a validation list in cell. It should at least twice of the width what it is now.
The way it is now there is no use for it. Yes, maybe for a validation check if the value is "Yes";"No" or "Maybe".
Specially when you want to use a product selection, this is way to small.1 vote -

Protect worksheets on excel for iPad pro
I am using Excel on my ipad pro and I realize that it does not support sheet protection, more precisely, it does not allow me to lock and unlock sheets that were previously protected while working with the spreadsheet on a desktop. This is a significant limitation for the use I make of excel. Does anyone know if there is any plan for this BASIC and ESSENTIAL function to be added to the next version ?
Thank you!2 votes -

Would be more helpful when comparing two excel docs in ipad pro. Allow for two documents to be open at the same time.

Can I use a Tablet & Stylus to enter numbers in Excel cell ?
i fill in numbers on reports printed from Excel spreadsheets. I want to stop using a clipboard with printed paper, and use a tablet (Surface Pro?) and a Stylus to write the numbers (Data) in the cell.
I've been reading forums and scanning YouTube and I can't find an answer to a Very Simple question:
Is today's Hardware, and software advanced enough to let me write numbers on the tablet, and have it converted to digital type?
this would help speed up the job i do, make it more efficient to not turn in my chicken scratch, only to have…3 votes -
Paste Plain Text On Iphone
I want to copy the data from MULTIPLE cells in Excel on an iphone and paste the data elsewhere. This data is TEXT. It needs to remain TEXT.
I do not want to:•copy an image file of the selected cells
•copy data from one cell at a time
•export this file to another spreadsheet app that easily performs this simple task (because such exporting has been, apparently, cleverly forbidden)
•retype the data from these cells into another spreadsheet app that easily performs this simple task (because there are tens of thousands of them.)
