  1. Add Rows to Repeat at Bottom, please.

    Rows to Repeat at Bottom to work as Rows to Repeat at Top, except at the bottom of each page.
    I'm sure there are those who would also appreciate "columns to Repeat on Right", & if the option existed, i'm sure I'd find a way to apply that as well.

  2. Options to disable all and parts of auto formatting

    When importing data either from other applications or copy and pasting from other sources excel's auto-formatting corrupts data sets. It would be useful to have an option to turn off auto-formatting in part and in whole. This has been one of the biggest drawbacks of the programme for years now.

  3. Office 365 Excel ribbon design is a catastrophe

    The current Office 365 Excel (Mac) ribbon design should be 'revised' to previous versions. The font and icon sizes and styles are very difficult to read, especially for people with bifocals or altered vision. E.g., the 'Fill Color' icon used to look like a paint can and now appears as a faint tin can. Font sizes are too small, thin, faint. Just because you can change something does not necessarily make it better. Perhaps Office designers should be required to read Don Norman's design books.

  4. Is there any function to allow users to edit ranges before protecting sheet?

    There is no function to allow users to edit ranges before protecting a sheet (as we can do in Windows' version)

  5. Fix Conditional Formatting

    When rows are inserted into a worksheet with conditional formatting, the cell (or range) references in the conditional formatting change. Fix the system so that the insertion of a row or column into an area covered by conditional formatting adopts the format (this part may already be the case) AND the formatting cell range reference in the Conditional Formatting dialog box does not get fragmented addresses; the range stays the same.

  6. Conditional formating of LInes

    If number above this cell is less than number below than this type of line; or
    If number above this cell is greater than number below than this type of line; or
    If number above this cell is equal than number below than this type of line.

    I have spoken to others about this, and am 'told' that the formatting is possible. When I try to do it, it has never worked. Either I am not understand it, OR something is not complete in the Conditional Formatting protocols. I'ld like to format hundreds of cells for this evaluation. and right…

  7. Fill color and text color on Touch Bar

    Both the fill color and text color on the Touch Bar are missing "Standard Colors" (red, yellow, etc.) Please add the Standard Colors to these buttons.

  8. Save formatting when scaling down pages...Column widths do not save when pages are scaled!

    ..For instance, after saving a document that is scaled (where all pages are scaled exactly the same even), column widths change and inserted pictures are stretched. I'm having to redo all my company templates to be 100% scaled and hope this will fix the issue.
    Excel is not well-tailored to layout and design. If only Adobe had a spreadsheet product ...

  9. Data Validation List able to work with Array Constants

    Please make the Data Validation List feature work with array constants.
    Like to be able to define a named Array Constant and use that in a Validation List. After all they are both lists and the Data Validation list works with a classic Named Array.

    Requirement scenario is to share a workbook across organisations and ensure consistent data entry or option selection without VBA, as VBA is often stripped/blocked at organisational boundaries. This would be a very simple and straightforward solution improving user experience and organisational efficiency.

  10. greek font

    Greek fonts are commonly used in physics and mathematics.

    In Excel, the 'Insert Symbol' menu line opens a table with many kinds of greek fonts (bold, italic, gothic, whatever ...) but when I just want to enter a plain greek character in an Excel cell, I often get it rather weird, never looking as in the table.

    It was straight and easy before Office 365. May be linked to the default font chosen for the cell ??? Changing it sometimes improves, sometimes not.

    I finally found which symbol I had to chose in that table to get a plain 𝞅…

  11. Comment box

    I really miss the ability to add a photo to a comment box. The updates that have been made to the comment boxes have ruined Excel for me. This one feature is THE most important reason for my use of Excel. I tried to just format a photo to fit in a cell and that doesn't work either. Come on guys, can't we do better than this?

  12. conditional formatting help with rules that are incorrect of wrong

    as you can see I have error in my conditional formation but I don't know how to fix this I have some cell in the green but in the same row I have white field that I would like green

  13. Allow users to change default number settings

    When switching from generic to number, it shows the number in full with two decimal places and no comma separations ie. 623453.00. Instead I would always like the 'number' format to show no decimal places and always use commas ie. 623,453. There should be more flexibility for the user to define the default conditions for number formatting.

  15. EXCEL for MAC version 16.35 has a conditional formatting bug

    Conditional formatting which uses named ranges in the condition, can't be copied between two workbooks. It can be copied only within one workbook.
    Identical conditional formatting that uses unnamed ranges can be copied between workbooks without a problem.
    This bug is in versions 16.35 and 16.37.

    PLEASE FIX!

  16. conditional coloring for pivot cell excel for mac

    I compared the "Manage Rules" feature on Windows and Mac, I found that the difference is Windows has the "Apply Rule To", however, Mac doesn't have it.

  18. touchbar

    I would like to easily highlight a cell with the touchbar but the color i most frequently use or even the "last" color used is not an option. I suggest you include whatever color is in the highlight/fill button be included in the touch bar.

  20. Visual confirmation of data entry by changing colour of the blank cell, AFTER data is entered,

    Visual Confirmation by changing the colour of the blank cells AFTER data is entered into it. Example, if my colleague is entering data in cell a2, b2, c2, forgets to enter data in d2, but enters data in e2. The intent is to show the cell d2 data was not entered.
