Add support for Get & Transform (formerly Power Query)
Make Get & Transform (formerly Power Query) available in Excel for Mac (like in Excel for Windows)

Hi all! We have recently extended the list of supported sources you can refresh your Power Query queries from in Excel for Mac. In addition to refreshing your data from Text, CSV, JSON and XML files, you can now refresh your data from the tables and ranges in the current workbook, as well as from SQL Server database. For more information about Power Query features that are currently supported in Excel for Mac, please take a look at the following support article:

When will it be possible to create (not just refresh) Power Query queries on Excel for Mac?

It is utterly disgraceful that in 2021 you do not have the option to import a json file into Excel for Mac

Please add power query (like what is present on excel for windows) also for excel for mac

It is certainly welcome to have more data sources added. But....it still leaves the support for transform and large file power pivot functionality missing.
Please get Excel for Mac functionality equal to Excel for Windows in these areas. -

Since my original office is undergoing renovations due to Hurricane Laura & Hurricane Delta damage, I am working in a satellite office and using my personal MacBook Pro for all work-related tasks. I cannot believe that we are STILL waiting for all of the Pivot Table tools and features to be implemented for Mac users... unacceptable. I tried to use the online version as a work around, but I was disappointed to find out that the online version also lacks important features that I regularly use on my PC. Can we at least get an estimated timeline for the rollout of these features for mac users, please??

It's great that you guys have made Power Query available for mac users for office 365, but is it possible to also include office 2019 and 2016 in this update? As a costumer with no IT background I find it strange that Power Query is included in office 2016 and 2019 on windows but not on mac.

Excel 16.41 for mac:
"At this stage you can refresh from text, CSV..." it's an absolute lie, it does not work.
Query created on Excel for windows (it works with a windows path) but it does not work with a osx path in a Mac.
let
Source = Csv.Document(File.Contents("/Users/username/filename.csv"),[Delimiter="#(tab)", Columns=15, Encoding=65001, QuoteStyle=QuoteStyle.None])
