Autosave to work with iCloud. (Not everyone has OneDrive!)
Please can you enable Autosave to work with the Mac's Cloud solution, iCloud. Although I personally use OneDrive, I don't want my excel files saved there. I have them all saved on iCloud or locally on my HD. Users should be able to select which cloud service they wish to use for Autosaving. (including other wider providers).

We should be able to save our documents to wherever we want. Microsoft please modify your approach to this. iCloud is preferable to many in the Apple world and your restriction just pushes us away from your company.

Inability to save my Word files to iCloud just makes me hate Microsoft.

I hate Word, why can’t we work normally with it. It just crashed again and no auto save anymore. 2 hours work gone. When can we live without Microsoft.

I already have a Cloud service. DO NOT FORCE ME TO SAVE TO ONEDRIVE! Just to have an Autosave feature that I've enjoyed for 15 years. It's not right.

I would like the autosave capability to ICLOUD from my MACBOOK pro for any office 365 product. Funny that AUTOSAVE works on Office 365 on my IPAD.

When I open a .doc that is saved to my icloud drive I expect it Word to save it to its original location. However this is not the case. Not only is autosave disabled (due to OneDrive being the boss of the world) I have to browse for the original location when I try to manually save it. This is cumbersome and has led me to lose hours of important editing work. Please allow autosave to identify and recall the root locations of files that are saved to other clouds and drives.

I'll repeat one comment below: Please enable Autosave to work with Mac IOS's iCloud solution. I want my files in one place, not scattered all over.
Users should be able to select where they want their files saved. -

I think it's disgraceful that Microsoft doesn't allow customers, who pay for a yearly subscription, to save files where ever they would like. Your company made a version of Word and Excel for Mac users because they would have lost the business. Apple has come very close to a Word and Excel program of it's own... get on the ball Microsoft or you'll loose even more business!

I have used iCloud to save my Dropbox files for years. Hate it that you force to use One Drive. Clearly not as fast or safe. If I would have known this would have been a deal breaker
