Fix copying. When I perform a copy operation I get the spinning beach ball, regardless of how little data I'm copying.
I saw an improvement by deleting MS office from my MAC and re-installing it. Not a simple task but it was getting unusable.
I absolutely agree. We're using the current Office 365 Mac Excel version (the problem also existed with older versions).
With many Excel documents a reasonable working is currently impossible.
The following problem:
Small documents, maximum 2 sheets, little content
> Open the documents: Lasts up to 1 - 2 minutes until the documents are opened
> Change cursor from cell to cell - extremely slow
> Entering data in cells - even slower possibly even spinning beach ball
> Scrolling especially in columns and with area fixation - unbearably slow incl. screen distortions.
> Copy & paste of cells and contents only possible with long delay, also rotating beach ball.
Need urgent help for this, efficient work in our company currently not possible.
MacBookPro, 2.26GHz, 16GB Ram, Catalina / Office 365 16.33
Copying is better on 16.31 (Build 19102902). If you are a fast-track user, you can get that latest update. But I agree it is still not as fast as it was back in the 15.xx days.
Agreed. This is quite a jarring experience
