Format cell to NOT print
It would be amazing if there was a way to select certain cells and mark them as “DO NOT PRINT”. So that these cells could be visible while I’m working but not print out when I sent the worksheet to print. I know I can hide rows or columns but I need only specific cells. I also know I can change the font to white, but that hinders my ability to see the cells while working or would make me have to constantly change font colors back and forth. This could even be added in the “Protection” tab under “Format Cells”. Options could be “Protect”, “Hidden” (as they currently are) and add “Do not print” as a third option. Perhaps another route would be with conditional formatting, say do not print cells highlighted in yellow? I’ve scoured the internet for a way to do this but have not found a good simple solution that doesn’t involve complicated macros that change font colors back and forth.
This is a file that I work constantly throughout the day and print multiple times a day, so a simple solution would save me a lot of time. (And trust me, I want to be green and not print as much, but it's a must for my job.)
