Add PowerPivot to Mac excel
is it possible to open an existing Windows Power Pivot Excel on Mac?
I have already created a Power Pivot Excel report on Excel 2013.
Now i want to use that report on mac.Is there any way to do so?
Thanks for all the votes and comments on this suggestion. We know this is important and it’s a big undertaking. Please continue to show your support for this.

We need this! We are a mixed environment and can't share PowerPivot sheets.

PowerPivot to Mac excel for would be quite helpful

Please make it available for Mac Users as well.
I vote for that ! they need to align with mac users...

What a shame for Microsoft not even thinking about the Mac community using such Excel features. Macs are somehow more powerful machines for a major set of softwares and many prefer it instead of Windows machines. It looks like a new kind of "digital racism" against Mac users is going on...
closing the gaps between the platforms is a good move. its a premium product and an expensive subscription--all users should enjoy the powerful add-ins...
It is possible.
But you will have to wait for decades.
Or become Microsoft's biggest shareholder.
They haven't even planned to do the development.
The issue is "Accepting votes" since at least 2016.
And Steve K doesn't even bother to answer.
I need powerpivot Excel on a Mac. Is it posible ?
And if it is how ?

I really need this otherwise me and some of my colleagues will have to go with Tableau or Microstrategy.
By the way, the company I'm working for has 120K employees, nowadays we are prety focused in Data analysis and people in development areas have the right to get a macbook pro (and most of them get one).
So I really thing you should be considering this seriously enought to at least explain what's going on to your loyal mac customers.
Combined votes for Power Pivot + Power Query (same stuff) = 5170. Next issue: 664
Hey Steve K (and the rest of Microsoft), we are SHOUTING. Stop playing deaf.
At least tell us you are not going to develop it.
Sorry, I cannot do that--- why not?--- well, I'm on Mac, and you know... well, Excel for Mac is a trimmed version of yours--- Really? ---- yes, really ---- and what are going to do about that?--- uhmmm, i will post my huge frustration and ... I don't know, I love Mac, I don't want to go back to Windows... --- I need to find an alternative, someone will help... /// C'mon guys at Microsoft. This is not minor, it is not acceptable and it should be a priority!!!
Come on guys.
Voice of customers speaking out loud: We need Powerpivot on Mac Excel- like yesterday...
Please add this long, overdue feature to Excel for Mac at the earliest possibility. As countless users have pointed out, the cost of the product does not justify the absence of this feature.

And I agree with Peshko
the payment of the subscription is the same regardless of the operating system you use (Mac or Windows)
But you get less features when referred to the Mac version...
Where's the logic?? Why??

Microsoft, WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO, AL LEAST. EXPLAIN SOMETHING ABOUT THIS, WHY the Mac Version doesn't have this pretty useful tool...
It's like 10 years the Windows version has it...
So guys, almost a year ago, you stated that you are working on that. Since then, many new customer have been dealt a huge blow, typical to sneaky Microsoft sells tactics! We need statement of directions and roadmap of when this feature is going to be available!!! It is pure steal of customer's money and borderline criminal behavior to ask your customers to pay the same amount of money and provide less features for MacOS customers!
PLEASE enable this feature. I desperately need it.
