Copy and paste photos from Photos to Excel for Mac
It is regrettable that it is not possible to copy and paste photos or drag-and-drop photos from Photos to Excel. Please enable this function, which used to exist when copying photos from iPhoto. Now, since Photos, one has to click in Excel for Mac: "Media" then "Insert" then "From Web Browser" function, and then wait for that to load. This is extremely time consuming when you have a lot of photos to copy individually. (By the way, it's OK that photo quality may be lower when using copy/paste or drag/drop versus "Insert; all I want in the Excel spreadsheet are thumbnails of photos anyway.)

I am no longer able to copy photos into Excel for Mac spreadsheet which was a very useful feature when photos were stored on iPhoto. Please restore this feature.

I was stumped, and then I discovered I could drag the images out of Photos into a file folder or desktop. Then drag from there into Excel. Works great and you can do multiples as well!
I was able to copy multiple photos at once into Excel by first inserting them into Powerpoint, then right clicking on all photos and pasting into Excel. Sure would be easier if you could just copy/paste from Photos on Mac.
It would be excellent if Excel followed Apples human-interface guidelines on this point. I realize that the problem lies with Apple's changed implementation of picture formats in Photos, but it is a solvable problem!
The guidelines are at: https://developer.apple.com/ios/human-interface-guidelines/interaction/drag-and-drop/ Make drag and drop available for all selectable and editable content.
The specific guideline is "Selectable content should be draggable, and editable content should accept dropped content. Also make sure your app supports copy and paste in these areas. "
