"Paste as pdf" feature is not working properly
Excel 365 (2016) issue. This is a big problem for me.
I very frequently copy content from Excel to paste into reports and other documents in WORD. In earlier Excel versions, the most efficient and highest resolution method to do this is to highlight the cells/tables/graph or other content in Excel, copy it. and paste in Word as a pdf. In Excel 2016, Paste as PDF is still an option but the resulting paste does not retain the formatting of the original content, which defeats the purpose of pasting as a pdf. The only other option to get a high resolution, report quality table or graph is to take a selected screen shot (SHIFT-CMD-4) but this requires fiddling with sizing and positioning after pasting. This is very time consuming if one has a large number of tables and graphs to place in a report. PLEASE FIX.

Further to my opening post, I have just got off the phone with Microsoft Office support. A Level 2 person said that Excel and WORD are now coded differently so that Pasting as PDF will not retain the formatting. Surely this cannot be so!!!! Pasting as PDF is such a basic and fundamental operation that should allow interchange of information and images between all of the Office programs.
