Restore data form functionality (different from VBA UserForms)
I miss the data form feature available in previous versions of Excel and would like to see it restored in Excel for Mac. Note that the Data Form feature is not the same as VBA UserForms. There's a separate suggestion if you want to vote for VBA UserForms.

You can continue to comment on this suggestion, but we are marking it Not at this Time, to let you know the status of the request.
We recommend using Tables to make data entry easy. To create a table, just press CMD+T. With a table, you can press TAB to move across the fields and then it will automatically go to the beginning of the next line if you’re at the last field. If you’re on the last record in the table, it will add a new record to the end of the list.
Please comment to let us know what other reasons you’re using the Data Form that make it easier/better than using a Table.

Need "user form" back in Mac excel 2016. The removal of this command is nothing less than STUPID.
May get rid of Excel and goto Numbers for Mac. -

Simon queries why we have to continue with paying for new version of MS which are incrementally worse than the previous - a payment for downgrading. You don’t have to - you can move to the OpenOffice suite - it’s free, runs on most OS’s and has a macro system similar to MS’s. the only down side is that it is not exactly compatible with MS VBA and there is a steep learning curve. I think the wise move is not to upgrade MS Office until they sort it! This may take a long time......

This is really sad that Microsoft do not say anything regarding these changes. I got office 2016 while ago I have so many Excel applications that use user form almost all of them now none of them works in this **** version. The **** with Microsoft office.

In Excel 2011 for Mac the Form icon is available by right clicking on the quick access toolbar (at the top) and choosing "Customize Toolbars and menus..." then select Data in the left column and "Form..." in the right which can be dragged up onto the toolbar.
In Excel 2016 for Mac it is not available. The quick access toolbar customization is in Preferences, but the Form icon has been deleted.
Why Microsoft feel they need to firstly change the method of finding these controls and then deleting some is beyond my comprehension. My motto has always been "if it ain't broken DON'T FIX IT"!

I deeply regret the fact that MS does not make userform available to us Mac users. We pay the same amount of the full version for Windows and receive a lower product ...

Data Form was simple and easy. Why the heck would you delete it?
