How can we improve Excel for Mac?

For charts link a color to a series name so that we don't have to worry about changing its colour anymore.

I've been waiting for this for ages. Why is the color scheme linked to a given order of series? We need to set once and for all a series name to set colour.

When parsing data, to have the colors on the charts constantly changing, is time consuming to edit if you want the outputs for visuals. Being able to assign a color to a specific piece of data in the series would save huge amounts of time. Colors by "In order of the series" does not work because not every series has the same data (one set might look at 10 in the series, but the other set may only contain 5 of the 10). Need a way to make it match easily and be uniform throughout the spreadsheet.

The idea is that you can link a color within a palette to a series name tag. Say you have currency series wit USD GBP EURO etc. Whenever the series label in any given chart is USD the series is red. If it is GBP it is blue etc. Today in excel it is the order if series that determines the color.
