It would be great if Excel for Mac (Insiders) is able to have the new Stocks functionality currently used by Excel for PC (Insiders)
This functonality is described in https://support.office.com/en-us/article/get-a-stock-quote-e5af3212-e024-4d4c-bea0-623cf07fbc54
In respect of this particular capability, it would bring Excel for Mac more in line with Apple Numbers which currently offers something similar.
Thank you for considering this addition.50 votes
Hi Jonathan – thanks for asking! We’re working on this and will update the status here once it’s closer to being ready.
Program Manger, Excel
Hi everyone – we continue to work on performance improvements in this area and other areas of Excel. It’s a gradual process, so there have been some improvements already, and we will have more to come.

In Mac XL 2011 You had ability to create Macros that made use of Relative References in a addition to absolute references. In the Excel Mac 2016 Answers forum this is vitally important.
Any possibility of returning this to Excel Mac 2016

This is now available in version 16.24 and greater! You can get the update now if you opt into the Insiders Program, which you can do by going to Help > Check for Updates (not available if you installed from the Mac App Store).
If you don’t want to opt into the Insiders program, then just wait for the next update, which should be in mid-April 2019.
Thanks to everyone for all your support for this feature.
