  1. Bring back a fully functional VBE (Visual Basic Editor for VBA)

    Please bring back the full editor capability of VBE to Mac Excel 2016, like we had in Mac Excel 2011. As it is, the "slimmed down" editing experience of VBA is more like a notepad experience than anything - making it basically impossible to
    * edit VBA from scratch,
    * get syntax highlighting
    * see a watch window
    * etc.

    • Add recent Excel Windows functions to Mac version

      A bunch of great new functions just went into the Windows version of Excel: https://blogs.office.com/2016/02/23/6-new-excel-functions-that-simplify-your-formula-editing-experience/

      Please add them to the Mac version ASAP!

          Thanks all for asking about Page Break Preview in Excel for Mac. You can see the feature by becoming an Insider. Just go to Help > Check for Updates and check the box to join the Insider program. Choose to get “Fast” insider updates and update to the latest version to see the Page Break Preview feature. The build number should be 15.34 (170419) or greater.

          Thanks,
          Steve [MS Excel for Mac]

        • Fix Solver after update 15.19.1

          After the update 15.19.1 the picking problem is fixed. But now solver don't work anymore. When you try to solve a problem nothing happens.
          Please fix this!!

            (Thanks James [MS] for following up on this and coming up with this status update.)

            Hi everyone,
            This issue only seems to affect non-English versions of Excel. If you need to use Solver right now, you can switch to the English version by changing your OS X language and restarting Excel. To do this:
            1. Open System Preferences
            2. Open Language and Region
            3. Click the “+” sign in Preferred languages
            4. Add English – US
            5. Drag English to the top of your Preferred languages.
            6. Now quit Excel (cmd+Q) and restart it – Excel should now be in English.
            7. Once you see Excel in English, quit it a second time (cmd+Q)
            8. Start Excel

            Solver should be working now! If you see an error that says “Solver.xlam” is already open, you can fix this by quitting Excel (cmd+Q) and restarting it.

            Thank you all for your help…
