  1. Excel for Mac should have the new Stocks functionalty

It would be great if Excel for Mac (Insiders) is able to have the new Stocks functionality currently used by Excel for PC (Insiders)

This functonality is described in https://support.office.com/en-us/article/get-a-stock-quote-e5af3212-e024-4d4c-bea0-623cf07fbc54

In respect of this particular capability, it would bring Excel for Mac more in line with Apple Numbers which currently offers something similar.

Thank you for considering this addition.

Hi everyone – we continue to work on performance improvements in this area and other areas of Excel. It’s a gradual process, so there have been some improvements already, and we will have more to come.

      • Bring back REAL keyboard customization!

It is completely not true, that keyboard customization through OS X keyboard preferences really works. Tell me how to make a shortcut to fill cell with color: for instance CTRL+2? Or how to paste values (without any mid-steps)? Or even do something more advanced than copy/paste with my own combination of inputs.

The fact is that office 2016 for mac lacks this feature and this "workaround" is NOT a replacement. Please bring back the option that was SO USEFUL!

Hi everyone – I have great news. The Keyboard Customization feature is now available in the latest Insiders Fast update to Excel for Mac. To get the update, go to Help > Check for Updates, and opt into the Insiders program and choose the Fast updates. If you have version 16.17 (180822) or greater, you should see the feature. It should show up for everyone else (in the non-Insider update) sometime next month.

You can now assign your own key combinations to many commands within Excel. Just go to the Tools menu and choose Customize Keyboard. Pick the category of command you’re trying to find, and then look for the command in the list. Select a command, press a key combination, and see if it’s used already. If it’s already in use, you may want to pick a different combination. Then just click the “Add” button to assign the key…
