Add PowerPivot to Mac excel
is it possible to open an existing Windows Power Pivot Excel on Mac?
I have already created a Power Pivot Excel report on Excel 2013.
Now i want to use that report on mac.Is there any way to do so?4,076 votesThanks for supporting this suggestion with your votes. It’s unlikely that we’ll be able to bring PowerPivot to Excel for Mac, because it relies on features of the operating system that don’t exist on Mac OS. We’ll keep tracking votes, since we know that the scenarios made possible by PowerPivot are important, even if the solution will need to be something else.

Add support for Get & Transform (formerly Power Query)
Make Get & Transform (formerly Power Query) available in Excel for Mac (like in Excel for Windows)
3,939 votesWe are pleased to announce that the first set of Power Query features are now available in version 16.29 and greater. At this stage you can refresh from text, CSV, XLSX, JSON and XML files.
Refer to the following blog post for more details:
https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Excel-Blog/Get-amp-Transform-Power-Query-in-Excel-for-Mac-Phase-1/ba-p/876840I encourage you to try the new functionality and share your feedback with us via Send a Smile/Frown at the top right corner in your Excel for Mac.

Enable VBA Support for creating and editing UserForms (not the Data Form)
In previous versions of Mac Excel you could create a Form/Dialog using VBA (called a VBA UserForm). In Mac Excel 2016, you can no longer do this. Please bring that functionality back. Note that this is different than the "Form" option on the Data menu. There's a separate suggestion on UserVoice for that.
(March-2018: MS updated the Title and Description to avoid confusion with the Data Form request)
1,344 votesThanks for the suggestion and for the support of this feature. If you meant to vote for the Data Form, which is different than VBA UserForms, please change your vote to that suggestion instead. From reading the comments on this one, it seems that some clarification was needed.
I updated the title and description for this one and we’ll continue to monitor for comments and votes.
Here’s the link to the Data Form suggestion – https://excel.uservoice.com/forums/304933-excel-for-mac/suggestions/17930662-restore-data-form-functionality

Add Evaluate Formula to Mac app
Please add the evaluate formula dialogue box to the mac app. With it you can evaluate a formula step by step and see which part of the formula works and where the problem is.

Consolidate Multiple Data Sources in a Pivot Table using the PivotTable wizard
Allow users to aggregate data in a pivot table from multiple worksheets.
509 votesHi all – we are evaluating this request, but we want to find the best solution for your data analysis needs. It would be helpful if you would describe what you are trying to accomplish with your data so we can understand whether there’s a better way than by using the PivotTable Wizard to consolidate multiple ranges.
Please add your comments to the suggestion in Excel.UserVoice.com.

Restore data form functionality (different from VBA UserForms)
I miss the data form feature available in previous versions of Excel and would like to see it restored in Excel for Mac. Note that the Data Form feature is not the same as VBA UserForms. There's a separate suggestion if you want to vote for VBA UserForms.
418 votesThanks for the suggestion about the Data Form. We don’t have plans to implement this in the near future, so we’re marking it “Not at this time”.
We recommend using Tables to make data entry easy. To create a table, just press CMD+T. With a table, you can press TAB to move across the fields and then it will automatically go to the beginning of the next line if you’re at the last field. If you’re on the last record in the table, it will add a new record to the end of the list.
Please comment to let us know what other reasons you’re using the Data Form that make it easier/better than using a Table.

Add Find all in the Mac app
IN the windows version you can click on the button find all when you are in a search box. This then shows you all cells which contain your search criteria in a list. Please add this feature to the Mac app, too!
353 votesThanks for all your comments and votes supporting this suggestion. Please keep adding votes. We are considering this for a future update.

339 votesThanks for supporting this idea with your votes. We don’t have a plan to add this feature in the near future, but we will continue to keep tracking the votes.

Allow exporting of Sharepoint lists
It would be great if you could export a Sharepoint list to Excel for Mac. At present you have to use Excel on a PC - as I believe this requires some kind of ActiveX component.
278 votesThanks for the suggestion and the votes. We will continue to monitor the votes to help prioritize this along with other data connection requests. You may want to add a comment about connecting to SharePoint in the thread discussing PowerQuery.

ALT key ribbon access
The ability to utilize the ALT keys to access any button or command on the ribbon greatly improves productivity on the PC versions of excel. Implementing this feature on the Mac version of excel would be greatly appreciated.
245 votesThank you all for all of your comments and votes supporting this suggestion. We are now in the final planning stages towards starting the development of this feature.

Make available the forecast tool since that is needed for several statistical analysis
The forecast tool is fully available in the Windows version. Its absence actually limits various processes that are so important from financial and statistical point of view. Please look into this and try including it in the future.
186 votesThanks for this suggestion. The FORECAST.ETS functions are available in version 16.x of Excel for Mac. We will continue to monitor this suggestion and prioritize it as appropriate with the other suggestions here.

A better Name manager
Dear all,
What I love, please read this a need, is a better Name manager.
The size of the list is way to small. If you work a lot with names, then you get longer names which are not easy to select.
Also would like to see an easier way to replace, rename and exchange Names and references. When I make a Template sheet with names/reverences and want to make multiply copies bij code or manualy, its a crime to change or update the Name.176 votesThanks for all your comments and votes supporting this suggestion. Support Internet Query Connection (.iqy files)
It would be helpful for Excel to Mac to support internet query connections.
When exporting a list from Sharepoint, the .iqy file is downloaded, which I subsequently can't open in Excel for Mac.

Bring VBA on Excel for Mac to parity with Excel for Windows
Bring VBA on Excel for Mac to parity with Excel for Windows.
Currently, there are too many missing VBA elements missing. It is a major problem for those of us with mixed environments. Many things that worked under Excel 2011 no longer work in 2016.Why is the not being addressed?

Improve Graph Drawing Performance
When scrolling (e.g. with mousewheel) and a graph that was previously outside the view area moves into the view area there is a significant delay before the graph is drawn (1+ sec). If there are several graphs there is an even worse delay.
The workbook is not complex and the same spreadsheet in Excel (for Mac) 2008 did not suffer such delays i.e. nothing to do with the volume of data or the spreadsheet - something to do with Excel 2016.
I've not tried different styles or types of graph, mine are just simple line plots based in data in…
111 votesWe are investigating the best way to improve the performance of drawing charts after scrolling, and are prioritizing this along with all the other requests here.

Trend line to cell
Function that references a chart and gives trendline parameters.
90 votesThis is an interesting idea, and we will consider it, but we are not planning on implementing this in the short term.
