  1. Interlinking worksheet hyperlinks in spreadsheet to work in offline mode not only in browser

    Currently opening a spreadsheet from Sharepoint online and editing locally/offline, hyperlinks interlinking to other worksheets in the same spreadsheet will not work; i.e. a hyperlink in sheet 1opening sheet 2 or 3 or 4 directly to navigate to other spreadsheet locations will not open that spreadsheet location in offline mode. It appears that it attempts to contact the Sharepoint server to look for the local/offline mode worksheet address location in the spreadsheet and cannot resolve it, so nothing happens. Can this issue be remedied in a future release?

  2. Myriad Pro italic font formatting issues

    I just updated to El Capitan and now when changing Myriad Pro font from regular to italic, the formatting of the cell is all messed up. I've so far only noticed it on this one font.

  3. 'Save as...' window is truncated so cannot actually hit the 'Save' button

    'Save as...' window is truncated so cannot actually see/hit the 'Save' button. Can't scroll though the window so have to make the whole screen full size in order for the Save As window to resize to fit the page. Is this a bug that needs fixing (v 2011)?

  4. EXCEL for MAC

    Bonjour.
    Apparemment la fonctionalité suivante n'existe pas dans la version MAC et c'est bien dommage:
    "Evaluation de formule" dans Excel pour Mac 2011 qui, d'après l'ouvrage de Faïza Moumen Piasco, "Gestion Comptable avec Excel", éditions Eni,,2012 se trouve dans l'onglet Formule > Audit de formules > Evaluation de Formules et qui permet d'évaluer les formules imbriquées au fur et à mesure en soulignant chaque fois l'élément sur lequel il travaille. C'est un outil bien plus élaboré que l'outil de recherche des antécédents et très utile !

  5. Can't get PivotTable time grouping to work..

    In older versions of excel I can easily "group" a time column and summarize it by day, month, etc. In Excel 2016 I can no longer get this to work with any data sets so far. Grouping the data just results in a "dumb" group with no summarization features.

    I've found documentation of the "auto-grouping" feature for time in Excel, but this never seems to function or appear on my Mac....how can I replicate the legacy function??

  7. Revert the ungodly change to make the first key press open a cell instead of type into it

    Why did Excel 15.22 change to make the first key press open a cell instead of immediately typing into it? That hasn’t changed that since the 90s and is makes Excel incredibly frustrating to use.

    This behavior ONLY occurs on the Mac version and NOT the Windows version.

  8. Allow the user to clear all unpinned documents from the start-up window

    This applies to all the programs in Office 2016 for Mac. Unlike the previous versions from 2011, in the newer and "improved" applications it is no longer possible to clean unpinned documents from the list that shows when Excel/Word/PowerPoint is launched. It's also impossible to clear the recent documents that show under File > Open Recent. This clearly reflects Microsoft's new and disrespectful stance on the privacy of their customers.

  9. Charts in Excel 2011 are pixelated

    Charts made in Excel 2007 have a crisp graphic. Its easy to export to Adobe and they remain editable. In Excel 2011 the markers are blurred when printed or exported.

  10. File backup is faulty. I have an continuous use file and if the program glitches it restores older files no matter how much I back things up

    Need more recent backup checks. For some reason backup restoration is approximately a day lag. And I see others are suffering similar problems. The older version was not a problem, this one is.

  11. saving single Sheets in pdf like 2011 version

    In 2011 version of Excel for Mac it was great that the name of a sheet in a multisheet workbook appeared as default in the "Save as" window above when saving that particular sheet in PDF and checking the "Sheet" option instead of "Workbook" option. Now in Excel 2016 this isnt working anymore. It doesnt matter what option you check, it will only show the name of the Workbook in the "Save as" window. As this is really annoying and i use it on several occasions every day, would appreciate any help concerning the matter.

  12. Why can I open excel but not office?

    Office 365 is really awful, and I don't know how to get a standalone version again. Crashing often. Right now I cannot get back into my office after crashing, but excel and powerpoint are still open? I've reset my password twice, nothing works. Really really really don't like the new format.

  13. When i save a worksheet as CSV format in Xcel 2016 the variables are separated by semi-Colons instead of Commas.This causes severe problems

    When i save a worksheet as CSV format in Xcel 2016 the variables are separated by semi-colons and not comms.
    This causes severe problems when importing CSV files in other applications. Cel 2011 correctly exports CSV files with commas separating the variables.

  14. Fix Hyperlinks in Excel 2016 - Unable to use to navigate around workboks

    I created a link in my workbook to another tab in the same workbook using the CTRL-K feature. However, when I click on the link, it always asks if I want to open a workbook from my d.docs.live.net server, which is OneDrive. This is a OneDrive 365 account.

    I've removed and readded the hyperlink with the same results. It

  15. Scale to Fit

    In Excel 2011 and for Windows you used to be able to scale the spreadsheet when printing by setting the Scale to Fit option on the print menu to 1 page wide and leave the pages tall blank (or vice versa). This will no longer work, setting pages wide or pages tall to blank is no longer allowed, 1 tall or 1 wide is the minimum setting. To get this option to work you have to go to the File Page Setup window and set the scaling on the Page tab. This is clumsy and inconvenient. Please bring back the…

  16. Double clicking a cell with a formula to view the cells in use

    When I double click a cell with a formula in it in order to view which cells i've use in the formula, there is major lag in the highlighting of these cells if you must scroll horizontally to view them. I scroll several columns out of view to see the cells in use and I have to wait for SECONDS before the highlights appear. If you scroll around at all after the highlights appear, they disappear. This is extremely frustrating and wasn't a problem in the old version. This was instantaneous. Please let me know if this is a setting…

  17. Make VBA code designed in Excel 2013 (PC) compatable! Cannot run pivot chart code!

    Make the code that is designed on the PC work on the Mac. Spent a lot of time developing a workbook with code to automate building pivit tables and pivit charts. The pivot table code works. The pivot chart code bombs and am unable to find alternate code!

  18. Opening .cub files to let us work on B.I. basis

    As many people who works in a Business enviroment, I face off daily data files coming from DBases on Winservers machines.
    Our Dbase export B.I. files with .cub extensions, who can be easily opened and analized with Excel 2010 or above. We have licensed Win and Mac 2016 versions, but Mac users cannot open .cub files...
    Webought Excel for that, and we won't sell our Mac for Win PCs, so why buy MS appplications if they don't work on a Mac? For simple tasks, Libreoffice works great....

  20. Insert a template into a worksheet and sync templates with other devices

    1). When working on larger workbooks, for different projects, I need to compile a worksheet with several basic sheets and from other templates. I like to insert them directly from template into the sheet. Please make it possible.

    2). A way to sync a template between different computers for same user or different users but same office account.
