  1. Autosave to work with iCloud. (Not everyone has OneDrive!)

Please can you enable Autosave to work with the Mac's Cloud solution, iCloud. Although I personally use OneDrive, I don't want my excel files saved there. I have them all saved on iCloud or locally on my HD. Users should be able to select which cloud service they wish to use for Autosaving. (including other wider providers).

  3. Money in Excel - Download all Transactions

Money in Excel is a great add-in and look forward to updates and additional sheets. Firstly lets allow us to go back and get transactions further. Have options for dates such as ALL transactions or from beginning of certain year.

  7. Clicking on the validation list arrow do not update the cells

Excel for mac do not execute formula when you click on the arrow of a validation list, but on the windows it runs normal. It is very important to me.

    To reproduce:

1 - On the B1 cell put the formula: =A1
2 - Make a list with 2 (or more) items
3 - On the A1 cell, register a validation list with the list created on the step 2

Ok, now, anything you write on the cell A1, will be replicated to B1.
But, when you write something on the A1, and click on the arrow of the validation…

  11. Auto-Complete in Cells with Data Validation

In a cell with Data Validation, an auto-complete feature would be improve working speed immensely. The feature is there in Google Sheets as well. As long as there are multiple valid items, a drop-down shows a filtered list of such items only. When there is only one item that contains the typed string, pressing Tab or Enter fills that value in the cell and moves to next or below cell respectively. The typed string is matched to be contained anywhere in the valid items list.

  12. Money for Excel-Allow the same transaction to be split into various catgeories.

Certain items, especially income, need splitting; in order to accurately separate expenses like withholding for taxes or healthcare premiums.

  13. Customize Touch Bar

Please add the option to "Customize Touch Bar" for MacBook Pro's. It's usually found under "View" in just about any other application, but unfortunately not within Microsoft Office products.
While Excel does have a set of standardized Touch Bar buttons, you can't change them to what you might use most often, rendering it fairly useless.
Apple has had a Touch Bar feature since 2016 so it's not exactly a new feature. I understand that Apple is a competitor, but please put the "Customize Touch Bar" feature into your products!

  14. speak cell feature

in speak cell feature when we select the words it only reads the words in english if it could be possible to read the words in other languages or it could convert the words in other language it would be helpful for the people to understand the words more easily,or like for exmpl-i have taken a sentence and have ON the speak cell it says in english but the same sentence i want it in hindi or other language it would be easy for the lister to understand the things more in an easier way.

  15. Have UNIQUE() optionally ignore blanks

The new UNIQUE(), SORT() and SORTBY() functions are incredibly useful and they save a lot of time. It would be helpful though to allow UNIQUE() to optionally ignore blanks. I use UNIQUE() to build named arrays dynamically which I can use as a validation list for data validation. At the moment I have to create the list (e.g. SORT(UNIQUE(<some column in a table>)) and then created a Name using OFFSET() to ignore the blank at the start of the sorted list.

  16. Insert gif

I was used to insert some small .gif in Excel for illustrating a concept. Double-clicking on it, it was playing. Impossible with Office 365: it doesn't play any more (see attachment). Any way to restore it ?

  17. Make Microsoft Excel for Mac EXACTLY THE SAME as Microsoft Excel for PC.

If Mac subscribers of Office 365 are getting less features and PC subscribers, prorate the Mac annual subscription accordingly. If not, MAKE BOTH VERSIONS OF EXCEL HAVE THE SAME MENU FEATURES!

  19. Add OLAP support for Excel for Mac

We use Dynamics 365 Business Central, so it would be very beneficial to add OLAP support for Excel for Mac.

  20. Preserve conditional formatting in Mac pivot table

Please add the conditional formatting "Apply Rule To" feature to Mac Excel. This is already in Windows. It is insanely frustrating that I need to re-apply the conditional formatting to every column every time I expand a pivot table or add data or really do anything to the pivot table. Thank you.

    Also discussed here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/how-do-you-apply-conditional-formats-to-fields-in/7235070e-eeca-4b09-abd2-424e80333b06
