  2. Please allow magnification not only of Sheets but also of the Formula Bar

    Please find a way to enlarge text not only on Sheets but also in the Formula Bar. For we older peeps it can be very, very hard to squint at teeny weeny text…

  3. Recent Files

    Behaviour of "recent files" appears to have changed dramatically with the latest release. The list is empty since the update, and the "Recent Files" Windows refers to a login, but provides no mechanism for login. You are mucking around with the workflow of your users. Why would you make these changes?

  4. button for inserting rows or columns

    Would it be possible to create a button in one of the toolbars to make it easier to insert rows of columns with an easy click. Especially multiple rows or columns in an easy click would be nice!

  5. Ribbon: Allow import and export as in Excel for Windows

    In Excel for Windows you can export and import ribbons.

    In Excel 2019 for macOS you can't.

    Please add that function.

    To be honest, I'm disappointed about the fact, that users of the mac version have such disadvantages.

    I cannot see any reason, why that feature is not offered.

  6. Tool tips on Quick Access Toolbar

    Provide an option to have text (tool tips) below the icons on the Quick Access Toolbar. There could be icon+text or icon only.

  7. Speak Cell feature

    It has always existed that I could get the speak cell on windows however even after the last updates I don't seem to be able to find on Mac

  8. The next version for the Mac should compensate 2016 users

    Those people who have bought Excel 2016 for the Mac should be compensated for lack of functionality (VBA, UserForms etc) when the new version comes out in 2019. We should get a FREE upgrade and an assurance that these issues have been sorted.

  10. "search highlight"

    Searching for a an attribute; text, number etc. Highlights the attribute(s) and the cell the found attribute(s) are in. See how Numbers find function works.

  11. Restore data form functionality (different from VBA UserForms)

    I miss the data form feature available in previous versions of Excel and would like to see it restored in Excel for Mac. Note that the Data Form feature is not the same as VBA UserForms. There's a separate suggestion if you want to vote for VBA UserForms.

    Thanks for the suggestion about the Data Form. We don’t have plans to implement this in the near future, so we’re marking it “Not at this time”.

    We recommend using Tables to make data entry easy. To create a table, just press CMD+T. With a table, you can press TAB to move across the fields and then it will automatically go to the beginning of the next line if you’re at the last field. If you’re on the last record in the table, it will add a new record to the end of the list.

    Please comment to let us know what other reasons you’re using the Data Form that make it easier/better than using a Table.

  12. I need a way to insert multiple rows & columns in excel

    Please create a way to insert multiple rows & above or below other rows when I right click on a row. Also if you could do that for columns as well.

  13. Comment box

    When I hover over (or rollover) existing comment boxes they do not appear. (Yes, it is turned on under preferences.) I can't edit them either, as that would at least be a way to see them.

    I can add new comment boxes, that appear to have changed? I have to "submit" them?

    Please.....just put them back to the way they used to be. If that can't be done, why can't I view old comments? That is a must!

    Using Excel 2016 for Mac, Version 16.18. Using Office 365. I believe this latest update was yesterday. I was having this problem…

  14. Import/Export Quick Access Toolbar

    Similar to PC version, I would like to Import/Export the quick access toolbar. Preferably with the same/compatible PC "exportedUI" files.

  15. keep the copy

    Disable "Keep the Copy": Provide users a way to disable the new "keep the copy" functionality that was recently included. Having to hit the 'ESC' key is an extraneous step and very frustrating.

  17. Bring ALL of MS Office feature to MAC Office

    HOW ABOUT BRINGING ALL FEATURES AVAILABLE ON OFFICE FOR PC TO MAC OFFICE. I CANT BELIEVE THAT I PAY FOR SOMETHING AND I AM NOT GETTTING ALL FEATURES AND THAT IT VARIES FROM DEVICES.
    I WOULD LIKE TO SEE FORMULA WIZARD BROUGHT TO MAC OFFICE AS WELL AS PHSTAT.

  18. Autosave UI is HORRENDOUS

    Right now you have an "autosave" toggle on the Excel header. But this is set to "off" and is not able to be toggled on, unless you are working with a file on one drive. How presumptuous of MSFT - you put a control on the interface with no way to address it. And, your support is clueless (initially) as to why this is usable. Because they have all been trained to think that everyone uses everything you create all the time.

    Or organization, like so many others, relies on Dropbox. I also use iCloud. And Box. And OneDrive. But…
