  1. Make Find/Replace dialog non-modal

Please consider making the Find/Replace dialog work as it does on Windows.

In Excel for Windows the dialog box is non-modal and automatically adjusts position if the selected cell is behind the dialog.

  3. Fix problem of locked workbook screen when moving between freeze and unfreeze panes. I can't scroll horizontally without unfreezing.

Fix problem of locked workbook screen when moving between freeze and unfreeze panes. I can't scroll horizontally without unfreezing sometimes. The scroll bar at the bottom indicates the screen is scrolling, and the cursor can move across cells, but the screen does not move so that I can see the cursor as it moves. Scrolling vertically is ok. It seems to also be a problem linked to hidden columns. If I unhide all, and unfreeze all, then I can scroll horizontally again. A pain when I have so many odd columns of data that I don't want to look at! Please…

  4. Maximise window the way macOS apps are supposed to

When you click the maximise green circle in top left of a document window it now goes to full screen mode. "Option" + clicking does what the older version of the green circle did with the original OS X and many other iterations for most apps. For some reason Microsoft has not got the memo "Human Interface Guides" was never something MS paid too much attention to unfortunately, just implement maximise please.

  5. Allow user-specific zoom and document view settings

If users were able to personalize the viewing experience and have it remain consistent through documents, that would be a **** of a lot nicer than adjusting the zoom, row & column width every single time a new document is opened just because the last person had different preferences.

  6. A way to lock a Worksheet tab so that tab stay's visible at the left side of the tabbar all the time

A way to lock a Worksheet tab so that tab stay's visible at the left side of the tabbar all the time.
If we have 10+ tabs, and we want go quickly switch to an important tab, like a total Worksheet or TOC tab, it would be welcome to have an tab that is fixed in place on the left side of the tabbar, that will not moved away when we are on a tab far on the right.

  7. Incorporate default zoom level into preferences rather than saved into the workbook

I'd like to see zoom level as an individual preference by machine/license rather than incorporated into the workbook.

  8. in Full screen view, the file name is not approving on screen.

in Full screen view, the file name is not appearing on the screen, one has to open Window of excel to understand which file he is operating when he opened multiple files together.

  9. A way to avoid scrolling to deep down below.

A way to fast scroll no further then:
    1. - last line of a table + a few line's
    2. - a preset last line in a workbook.
    3. - last line of the print area

Often you want to scroll or copy things down til a certain row, but often the scrolling start slow or crapy and then flies downwards, passing the line you want. Specially within tables.

  10. Limit the number of columns

I have a seemingly infinite number of columns. This makes navigating and viewing difficult as when I quickly scroll to to the side or down (with magic mouse) I end up in Column AJP or some such.

  12. Text boxes that are inserted into cells in 'rows to repeat', do not show in Page Layout scrolling (although in PDF preview they do)

Because Excel for Mac 2016 won't allow you to insert a picture into the header (which is the subject of another thread!) I did the following:

Inserted a textbox into a cell in the first row -
Inserted the picture and text into that textbook -
Selected that row to repeat at the top of each page.

However....in Page Layout, when scrolling down, the text boxes didn't appear on each page. When opened with PDF in preview, however, the text boxes were there!! Please sort out Page Layout scrolling and image insertion!!!!

  13. ウィンドウ左上の緑の「最適化ボタン」が期待通りに働かない。

    Office for Mac 2011 (Excel)

  16. Display two worksheets at once

Allow two worksheets to display at the same time to expedite copy/paste from one worksheet to another. It would also help setting cell links for form controls.

  17. Worksheet Tab Editing Issue

When double clicking a worksheet tab and edit it, upon pressing enter you cannot resume in the worksheet until you actually click in the worksheet itself then the cursor will become active. This is not correct behavior. After pressing enter in the sheet tab, the worksheet the cursor should automatically be movable without having to click the worksheet after pressing enter. Please fix.

  18. Allow users to define Programmable Hotkeys for any Simple or Advanced Functions!

You don't need to break Excel's hotkeys to do this! You can keep your shortcut key TOTALLY INTACT!

Here's how you do it: Give us programmable hotkeys, for example Option 1 - 9 Can be user-programmable hotkeys.

For any given user, there are 10 involved tasked that they most commonly perform, for which there are no hotkeys.

For example, for a user they might be:

    1) Drawing a box around a cell

    2) Converting a Number to a Percent

    3) Creating a line graph specifically out of two columns (which normally requires 2-3 clicks - the hotkey will enable the…

  19. Keep the Count of the Rows and Columns involved ALWAYS on hand

    Example:

If I want to sum 300 rows, I write: =Sum(M30:M330), I often can't remember the COUNT. Have I just summed 300 rows in that equation, or have I summed 301 rows? You see!? I WASTE A LOT OF TIME double checking that the area selected by my formulas selected the number of rows I intended or 1 row too much/too few.

It's hard to figure this out! It shouldn't be.

When I'm double clicked on the cell with a sum function, for example, highlighting a range of (M30:M330) within the function, I SHOULD BE ABLE TO SCROLL OVER TO…

  20. Support Command+Tilde in Full Screen Mode

When multiple workbooks are open in Excel 2016 for Mac, you are able to switch between them by pressing Command+Tilde only if the workbooks are NOT in full screen mode. If the workbooks ARE in full screen mode, Command+Tilde no longer works.

This presents a significant usability/productivity problem in that you have to mouse through several layers just to switch between open full screen workbooks.

Command+Tilde should work regardless of whether workbooks are being viewed full screen or windowed.
