  1. Have GOTO place the target cell as the upper-left corner cell

Currently, when you ask Excel to goto a cell or named range, you never know where the target cell will appear within the screen. This voids the goto feature of any real convenience, since, if I have to scroll the target cell to a place where I can actually see the pertinent data and access it, then why use the goto feature in the first place? I may as well just scroll all the way to where I want to go!

If, however, the cell always ends up in the upper-left corner of the display, then I am actually where…

    • Please remove "Elements" toolbar! Takes precious space on my monitor, have seen many others with similar complaint. Excel 2008.

Excel 2008 - found out on my wife's older iMac that is running Excel 2008 that the so-called "Elements" toolbar is taking precious screen space and is useless for me. Seen many others post similar complaint. Doesn't seem to be in my AirBook version of Mac, but what can I do to eliminate this in this version?? Thanks

      • Making the File-Properties-Content window scalable would be advantageous for finding a tab within a workbook, and as a tab list.

          • Since last update tabs move around within doc all by themselves

This is driving me nuts - happens while I"m in a workbook and also when I open a workbook. Please can you fix and send an update ASAP? Thank you

            • slide feature in sheet list

Is possible to add slide feature to sheet list? Clicking on small arrows on the left bottom side is very slow and uneffective. This feature I'm talking about works in Google Drive Sheets or in your Excel for iOS and it's really great.

              • Dragging tabs in a workbook

Unable to drag tabs in a workbook beyond the edge of the page. In the past, you could drag the tab to the end of the page and it would scroll until you released it. Very helpful when alphabetizing.

                • Remove "Add Header" or "Add Footer" from Page View

Remove the grayed "Add Header" and "Add Footer" from being visible in Page View (example below). It wasn't visible in Excel 2011 but is visible by default on 2016. Or, maybe it's only visible when grids are visible? I create many forms with Excel and often leave the view for users to tab through the form in page view and magnified at a view that is best. Now all our customers submitting these forms have a big "Add Header" at the top of our nicely designed forms. Example attached.

This was my initial post in the community forum:

                    • Put Scroll Bars back

Put scroll bars (horizontal and vertical) back. Or at least put the slider back - the scroll bars are actually there but without any slider are totally unusable (took me a long time to even notice that the white bar was actually a scroll bar without any slider!

It's a nightmare trying to work without scroll bars and this feature needs to be put back really urgently.

                      • Weird issue on latest Fast Track version of Excel for Mac 2016

I am running MacOS 1013 High Sierra, Developer Beta 9 and the latest Fast Track version has about the weirdest problem. If the workbook is an xlsx format then the sheet is reversed (as in you would have to look at it in a mirror to read it), plus upside down. If I save-as that workbook to an xls and reopen it, it looks fine. More information... I also have the same version on a Sierra, 10.12 machine and all is fine, with either workbook format. I captured a screenshot to be sure that you understand what I am seeing.

                        • Make Find/Replace dialog non-modal

Please consider making the Find/Replace dialog work as it does on Windows.

In Excel for Windows the dialog box is non-modal and automatically adjusts position if the selected cell is behind the dialog.

Fix problem of locked workbook screen when moving between freeze and unfreeze panes. I can't scroll horizontally without unfreezing sometimes. The scroll bar at the bottom indicates the screen is scrolling, and the cursor can move across cells, but the screen does not move so that I can see the cursor as it moves. Scrolling vertically is ok. It seems to also be a problem linked to hidden columns. If I unhide all, and unfreeze all, then I can scroll horizontally again. A pain when I have so many odd columns of data that I don't want to look at! Please…

                              • Maximise window the way macOS apps are supposed to

When you click the maximise green circle in top left of a document window it now goes to full screen mode. "Option" + clicking does what the older version of the green circle did with the original OS X and many other iterations for most apps. For some reason Microsoft has not got the memo "Human Interface Guides" was never something MS paid too much attention to unfortunately, just implement maximise please.

                                • Allow user-specific zoom and document view settings

If users were able to personalize the viewing experience and have it remain consistent through documents, that would be a **** of a lot nicer than adjusting the zoom, row & column width every single time a new document is opened just because the last person had different preferences.

A way to lock a Worksheet tab so that tab stay's visible at the left side of the tabbar all the time.
If we have 10+ tabs, and we want go quickly switch to an important tab, like a total Worksheet or TOC tab, it would be welcome to have an tab that is fixed in place on the left side of the tabbar, that will not moved away when we are on a tab far on the right.

                                    • Incorporate default zoom level into preferences rather than saved into the workbook

I'd like to see zoom level as an individual preference by machine/license rather than incorporated into the workbook.

                                      • in Full screen view, the file name is not approving on screen.

in Full screen view, the file name is not appearing on the screen, one has to open Window of excel to understand which file he is operating when he opened multiple files together.

                                        • Frozen Panes scrolling issues

There's a post titled "Freeze Panes broken in 15.19.1" that is marked as "completed,", but those issues are still occurring. I'm on a Mac (Yosemite 10.10.5) and my Excel version is 15.34.

Link to post referenced above: https://excel.uservoice.com/forums/304933-excel-for-mac/suggestions/12428436-freeze-panes-broken-in-15-19-1
