  1. Can't use Myanmar Unicode, Pyidaungsu Font on Mac's Excel

    In word and powerpoint of excel, we can use the font easily. But in excel the font is always misplace.

    Please find the solution for that.

    Thanks for posting about this issue. It would be very helpful if you would provide more information and screen shots to show how the words appear in Word and PowerPoint so that we can see the difference in Excel.

    Also, if you could provide a small example of the keystrokes that are used to enter one of the words on a US English keyboard (set to Myanmar or Myanmar QWERTY), it will be very helpful.

  2. Make Excel for Mac Exactly the same as in Windows

    Make possible to see toolbars with colored Icons ,(same as in 2013 version) and also the option to place it bellow the ribbon.
    There are many missing functions, that are not available in Excel for Mac

  3. Gradient Cell for Excel Mac

    To have compatibility for Windows & Mac suggested to have gradient fill for Excel Mac as well.

  5. Change Default Currencies in Dropdown Menu Excel

    It would be extremely helpful to be able to change the default currencies I see listed in the dropdown menu for currencies.

    I'm in the EURO zone. Microsoft has decided I see GBPound/Euro/RMB/CHF which makes no sense to me! I never EVER use the Swiss Franc or Chinese RMB, while the USD is not in there... ????

    It should be such an easy software adjustment to select your own currencies (and order) of which currencies show in the dropdown menu. Why have currencies in shortcuts that do nothing to help the user?

  7. Make the Excel worksheet SEARCH BOX visible

    Either make the top bar a light colour so the "Search box" can be seen or make the search box WHITE. A DARK GREEN search box with BLACK lettering on a DARK GREEN background is meaningless and totally invisible. |I have very large Excel files, typically 105 fields by 34,000 lines and the search box is very important to my activity. Thank you

  8. Date error

    Date error occurs in entering a specific date in a format of 11/12/20, and 12/11/20, excel auto formats the date 2011-12-20 for 11/12/20, and for 2012-11-20. This happens in any blank cell or even if the cell is formatted as a date

  9. Fix the missing ADD TO PRINT AREA function

    In Excel for PC there are 3 options SET PRINT AREA, CLEAR PRINT ARE and ADD TO PRINT AREA, the last option is missing in Excel for MAC

  10. I have a cell where I align the text to the right with an indent -- 0 is too small, 1 is too big

    I have a cell where I align the text to the right with an indent -- 0 indent leaves the text touching the separator line while 1 indent gives too much space. You can see in the courier case, a non-proportional font, the right most number is indented more than the needed space for a character [number]. I tried both general and text for the data type. I suppose what I need is a fractional indent.

  11. UNABLE TO USE CHARACTERS ON EXCEL

    I had the 2011 office version and I was able to used special characters on excel and save them on downloads, today I found out that if I use any character I am not able to save the file like before. That doesn't make any sense, The old version works better than the new version?
    I want to be able to use any character and save my file.

  12. Autofit row height of merged cells

    It would be great if we could autofit row height of merged cells (either by double-clicking or after entering data) like it happens with un-merged cells.

  15. Memo Formatting

    The text box of the memo to be inserted into the cell is a fixed size.
    I'd like to see improvements so that the size can be changed automatically.

  16. Don't use scientific notation for 13-digit numbers

    13-digit ISBNs are widely used in the publishing and related industries. It is beyond frustrating that there is no option to set the default to storing and displaying numbers fully, rather than in scientific notation. If one is sent a CSV containing 13-digit ISBNs, opens the CSV then saves it again, they are corrupted and unusable. It is a bug, in my view!

  18. Categories

    There should be a category for Credits. You have three choices Income (not all credits are income), Transfer (which is unclear) and Expense (which makes sense). Movement of funds creating a credit is not always income and may need separate tracking. Also, the Categories should be able to be sorted by use or manual placement.

  19. Cell format menu should ALWAYS be present in Excel toolbar !!!!!

    Cell formatting menu has disappeared for the tool bar when I try to create an Excel spreadsheet. Not only is it not there, I can't find it anywhere. Should ALWAYS be there, as spread sheets almost invariably involve finding the relationships between diverse variable quantities (time, date, temperature, or other vaiables (physical, monetary etc.), and rates of change.
