  1. Make third party fonts usable in charts and graphs

It's currently acting as if it changes the font but just stays the same visually. Very buggy considering I can change the cell to a third-party font, just not the charts which is annoying as it makes them difficult to customise in accordance with branding guidelines.

  2. Put Ribbon Icons/Controls back to previous release size!

release 16.9 has slightly larger icons and controls in the ribbon making it larger (taking more vertical screen space. No good reason for this and we don't all have 42" screens - so put it back how it was and restore the previous icon size.

  4. Excel Error in Date Format with vers 16.9 (171206)

When applying a date format like "dddd" to a spreadsheet-cell, Excel does not recon this. The appropriate "date" format pre-set form (Format -> Cell) seems to be corrupted. (see image enclosed)

  6. Excel for Mac 11 vs 16

I've been using office 11 as my major app at work and it was almost perfect until High Sierra. Easy customizable keyboard shortcuts, customizable toolbar and menu. User friendly VBA and merge with Word. A bit slow while filtering applied, but I could cope with that.
After High Sierra came along, I switched to Office 16. Nothing to be customized, funky and very annoying animation when click on a cell and tonnes of bugs. VBA has some new limitations. Very inconvenient to use application, so I had to switch back to Office 11. It's working fine on High Sierra, but…

  8. Make Application.CalculateFull work again...

After a recent update (15.39 is current) Application.CalculateFull does not work as before. I have a spreadsheet with calls to several vba functions in cells. To update the cells from time to time I made a button with an "Application.CalculateFull" call. Before it worked like a charm, now I get a "#Value!" error in every cell with a function call. When I press "fn+ctrl+alt+F9" the cells get updated correctly. Why is Application.CalculateFull broken? Please fix!

  9. Excel is taking 100% CPU even though I have only 2 spreadsheets open with not much data and no complex formulas (no VB) and just a few tabs

This is a problem. If I reopen the very same spreadsheets, it takes less than 5% of a CPU. (In fact, it often terminates with an error.)

  10. constantly crashing and losting data - at least always save user work!!!!!!

this app is in need of serious redesign of basic functions - like saving work before a crash. I am done with excel and losing my time due to this horrible application. MS means losing time and money.

  14. Wont save an Excel file too many characters

Trying to save an Excel .XLS file, with a short name-I get the error message..."can't save too many characters" I reduced the name to just "Excel Sucks" and it still won't save - tried over 7 times. I do hate Microsoft and I do hate Excel - a necessary evil for work. MS - use some of your billions to fix your **** software please.

  15. What is with the "Read Only" Files?

Keep getting a message that my spread sheet is a "read only" file. I have used excel for 20+ years and have never seen so many convoluted errors. I am the ONLY one who uses my computer - what am I missing here. Wow so tired of the conflicts between nazi Apple computers and Excel. Do you really have no use for Apple clients? Please put the control back in the program and stop trying to manipulate our documents. I DON'T WHAT YOU KEEPING MY DOCUMENTS ONLINE NOR WILL I EVER!! Leave me alone.

  18. Fix 2011 Mac so numbers accept comma separators again

As of recent update version 14.6.9 (160926) there are no longer commas as 000's separators, vene though the formatting screen has a button to do so and custom formats show commas - but none are inserted. As a professional accountant, this is unacceptable.

  20. Error with VLOOKUP and GETPIVOTDATA double-populating characters

When I try entering a formula in which the range references cells in a separate workbook, I get a double-character in the formula when I start typing again.

For example, I try to enter the formula:
    =VLOOKUP(A1,'[Workbook-Name]Sheet1'!$A$C,3,FALSE)

To populate the cell range, I click into the other workbook and highlight the desired columns. Then I enter the comma and 3. Excel will automatically turn the 3 into a 33.

For GETPIVOT, I see similar issues, but this time it tends to insert two commas after the workbook cell reference.
    Sample formula:
    =GETPIVOTDATA("Field",'[Workbook-Name]Sheet1'!$A1,"Name","Value")

If I create formulas reference ranges within the…
