      • Bring VBA on Excel for Mac to parity with Excel for Windows

Bring VBA on Excel for Mac to parity with Excel for Windows.
Currently, there are too many missing VBA elements missing. It is a major problem for those of us with mixed environments. Many things that worked under Excel 2011 no longer work in 2016.

Why is the not being addressed?

          • Add Power Pivot to it.

Add Power Pivot to Mac for Excel.
I would be willing to pay an additional fee for it.

            • Excel for Mac should have the new Stocks functionalty

It would be great if Excel for Mac (Insiders) is able to have the new Stocks functionality currently used by Excel for PC (Insiders)

This functonality is described in https://support.office.com/en-us/article/get-a-stock-quote-e5af3212-e024-4d4c-bea0-623cf07fbc54

In respect of this particular capability, it would bring Excel for Mac more in line with Apple Numbers which currently offers something similar.

Thank you for considering this addition.

              • Please support Excel for Mac on the current plus 2 previous macOS operating systems

There is some indication that Office for Mac 2019 will only support the latest current release of macOS plus the previous operating system. This is a formal request from an Enterprise admin to have Microsoft provide support for the current macOS operating system plus the two previous operating systems.

Apple has been absolutely horrendous in documenting and providing the appropriate management tools to deal with major restrictions they've been adding to macOS. This makes it much more difficult to deploy the latest macOS release on day 1. As an example, the majority of our users are still on macOS…

                • Provide all the options that are available to Windows users

MAC users are severely limited with what they can do in Excel compared to Windows users. I am doing an Excel course and creating a Pivot Chart is not an option for me nor do I have the option to create a PowerPivot as my classmates who use Windows PCs. All that needs to be done is to make things comparable. What you do for one- Windows PC users, you do for the other- Mac users. Level the playing field so to speak.

It's not only about Pivot Tables. All Mac Excel applications and features need to be updated and…

                  • Excel crashes and cells cannot be edited with High Sierra

Dear Excel team, this has been posted already and has 74 comments on it, but you closed it. The reason you are not seeing crash reports is because we have to kill the app and this doesn't seem to generate a crash report.

Issue is as described by 4 pages of comments, please reopen. If not then I have created this as a new issue.

If you attempt to double click in the cell or click in the function bar, then Excel freezes, by keeping the cursor in the cell and removing keyboard entry. Menu's stop working as well, the…

In Excel version 16.17, when you click on "Save as" it adds "Copy of" to the filename. In all previous versions, it never did this. Please remove the "Copy of" in the next release of Excel for MAC.

Using Solver, you cannot select multiple ranges in the "By changing variable cells box. If you select a range, type "," and select another range, the first range is overwritten rather than appended as in the Windows version of Excel.

Bring filtering charts to Excel for Mac.

I read about this feature here: https://blogs.office.com/en-us/2014/02/04/filtering-charts-in-excel/

But I couldn't find how to use them in Excel for Mac (16.12).
I found https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_excel-mso_mac-mso_mac2016/chart-filter/e5e49410-6ffc-499f-bdeb-e6f8a151bd4c which claims they are not supported. This would be a useful feature to bring Excel for Mac closer to Excel for Windows.

Need to fix a bug with mac Excel. After running a macro, the mouse cursor disappears. It reappears after typing in another program and coming back to Excel. This fix works sometimes but not all. This gets frustrating. The same macro runs fine in Windows Excel.

Suppose you want to sort on the second column from largest to smalles. And values in the first column (if they have the same value in the second column) you want to sort alphabetically. I can't find a way to do this in Excel for Mac.

                                        • Support Internet Query Connection (.iqy files)

It would be helpful for Excel to Mac to support internet query connections.

When exporting a list from Sharepoint, the .iqy file is downloaded, which I subsequently can't open in Excel for Mac.
