New Formula editing experience
With the arrival of LAMBDA and LET we now need a new formula bar experience. Please vote and put your suggestions in the comments on what features you’d like the formula bar to have

Open find with options
The find dialog has an options button but it always opens with the options hidden. I literally always need to click that button to get to the options I need, or even to see which are currently set. Can Excel PLEASE remember that I clicked that button and leave options visible? Preferably between sessions too.

Pick color in Excel Like at Powerpoint
In Powerpoint there is a color picker tool to bring custom colors to the pallete.
Many times we need to do it using PowerPoint to get the RGB combination to be used in Excel.
Could you replicate this color picker into Excel in the same way it exists in PowerPoint?
Portuguese:
Conta-gotas PowerPoint

List sheet names vertically in a scrolling list sidepanel
The current way of navigating sheets is extremely slow and strenous and should be obsoleted and replaced with a vertically scrollable list sidepanel without the need of 3rd party add-ins.

True Dark Mode
Actually make the dark mode for Excel change the working document's background colour black/dark without needing to format.

See LAMBDA inputs and text in formula edit box
When selecting a cell with a LAMBDA function and then using the fx icon to display the Functions Arguments dialog it would be wonderful to see the function's input name(s) and description (from Name Manager's Comment box).
Please see attached mockup

A Better Spell Checking in Excel
🇺🇸 A good spell checker is important in any software. In Microsoft Word, it's a classic. In the modern web browsers, the dictionaries are there to help us write better as we type.
Excel should have the same ability to highlight our errors, as shown in the image:
🇧🇷 Um bom verificador ortográfico é importante em qualquer software. No Microsoft Word, é um clássico. Nos navegadores da web modernos, os dicionários estão lá para nos ajudar a escrever melhor à medida que digitamos.
O Excel deveria ter a mesma capacidade de destacar nossos erros, como mostrado na imagem:

"Dax Formatter" Nativo no Power Pivot (Excel & Power BI)
Um sugestão seria ter um botão na "Caixa de Diálogo"

Use new dynamic arrays in data validation
The use helper columns in tables now often is unnecessary if using the the new dynamic arrays. But if I want to use the output of one of the new functions as the source for a data validation list, I need to put the function in a cell and reference to that cell as the source for the data validation list. I would like to be able to put the dynamic array function directly into the source field of the data validation dialog.
Example: I have a table with a column of countries. I want to add a cell with…48 votes -

Make Excel obey the "scroll inactive windows" setting in Windows 10 (resubmitted Aug 2020)
Make Excel obey the "scroll inactive windows" setting in Windows 10. Currently Excel will scroll when it is an inactive window, but it will not allow other windows to scroll when it is the active window. This makes transcribing data from a source that needs to be scrolled difficult.
This idea was apparently fixed in 2018 (link below) but perhaps something broke it, as it is present at this time, evidenced also by the long comment thread in the "completed" item.
Please fix this again.

There are Duplicate Shortcuts For Converting a List into Table, Let's use one them for another functionality
A Table has a lot more functionality than a List. Although there are 6 different ways of converting a List into a Table, Excel users find it easy to do that with a shortcut. Surprisingly there are 2 shortcuts performing the same exact task:
CTRL + T (T stands for Table) or CTRL + L (L stands for List)
Why should we reserve 2 shortcuts for the same action? let's keep only the relatively new one CTRL + T (users are familiar with this one)
While Assign the older shortcut CTRL + L to copying to the left (L stands…28 votes -
SUMCOLS and SUMROWS functions for Dynamic Arrays
Create new functions that SUM each column in a dynamic array (SUMCOLS(Ref#)) to produce a row of totals, and SUM each row to produce a column of totals (SUMROWS(Ref#))
Also COUNTCOLS, COUNTROWS, AVERAGECOLS, AVERAGEROWS, but these are less important than SUMCOLS & SUMROWS.

Improve Table Design Tab Appearance and Functionality
There is No synchronization between the Filter command on the Table Design Tab and the similar command on the Data Tab. So if you apply a Filter from the Data Tab then clear it, the corresponding Filter command on the Table Design is inactive. On the Other hand, if you insert a Slicer from the Table Design Tab ► it inactivates the Filtering commands on the Data Tab. Filter on all tabs should synchronize together as well as with the Slicer.
Looking at the distribution of commands on the Table design Tab, I would prefer removing the Filter command from…19 votes -
Option to allow add-ins in restricted workbook (IRM)
The new Information Rights Management (IRM) is great to protect workbooks from being opened or edited by non authorized users.
Unfortunately it also deactivates all ad-ins. In principle this makes sense as add-ins can access and modify information within the workbook. However, current restrictions go a bit too far as even as an owner/author of the workbook with FULL CONTROL my add-ins are deactivated. Should I not have full rights to do anything with the workbook? In our company thousands of users across EMEA use a self developed add-in to calculate service costs. Now they cannot use IRM as it…107 votes -
Display pivot table headers in the columns headers
With the tables, if the header is not visible, Excel displays the headers of the table in the columns headers (see the picture attached)
It will be great to have the same behaviour with the pivot tables

There is No direct command for clearing the Data Validation on the Ribbon
Everyone is using Data Validation in Excel for simple or complex projects. However if you decide to clear your data validation rules there is No direct command on the ribbon to do that: So you have to go to the Data Tab >> Open the data Validation dialog box >> Click on Clear All >> Close the dialog Box.
My suggestion is to integrate this functionality with the Data Validation button in the ribbon (as explained in the attached Graphic) which will enable the user with a click to either clear Data Validation from a selected range or from the…35 votes -

Disable/Enable steps in Power Query
It would be great to have a feature that will disable/enable the steps in power query. This will allow user to see the behavior of the data on the depending steps without deleting steps.
Currently the work around is to comment the step and reference the previous step to the next step.
Having this feature with a click of button would be great & ease our life!
if you support this idea please vote for it
